Abstract

The invention relates to the field of metal protection from corrosion in water, in particular steel and can be used to inhibit corrosion in closed systems of steel pipelines.It is claimed the use of thiosemicarbazone of pyruvic acid as an inhibitor of steel corrosion in water at a concentration of 0.05...1.0 g/L.The result is to reduce the corrosion losses up to 40 times.
