Abstract

The invention relates to beekeeping, namely to a process for producing a biologically active nutritional supplement for bees and a process for feeding bees with its use.The process for producing the supplement comprises addition to the solution of the complex [Mo2O4(H2O)6]2+ of hydrazine monohydrate and Na2Mo4·2H2O in aqueous HCl solution, then NaH2EDTA is added, the mixture is brought to pH 6, heated to 70°C and cooled to room temperature, then PPh4Cl is added and maintained up to the formation of orange needles, which are washed and dried to produce the complex (PPh4)2[Mo2O4(EDTA)]·2.5H2O.The process for feeding bees comprises mixing of an aqueous solution of nutritional supplement with the concentration of 1 mg% with sugar syrup in a ratio of 2:100, respectively, and feeding of bees with this mixture in an amount of 100…300 mL per each distance between the frames, once every two days, for three weeks.
