Abstract

Selon l'invention, un réservoir de pétrole est traité thermiquement pour induire des réactions de gazéification, de conversion de gaz à l'eau et/ou d'hydrothermolyse afin de générer du gaz de synthèse contenant de l'hydrogène. Le gaz de synthèse est produit vers la surface à l'aide d'un ou plusieurs puits de production.
