Abstract

La présente invention concerne des procédés et des compositions pour résoudre le problème des infestations de micro-organismes et en particulier, la biocorrosion dans des canalisations transportant des boues. Le procédé comprend le traitement d'un fluide de canalisation (en particulier un fluide de bouchage) avec un biocide oxydant en une quantité supérieure à la demande en oxydant de la canalisation et un biocide non oxydant en une quantité inférieure à 30 % du minimum nécessaire pour stériliser les organismes microbiologiques. Ce traitement utilise les caractéristiques uniques d'une canalisation de boue pour éliminer les micro-organismes sans endommager la canalisation comme cela serait prévisible en utilisant un biocide oxydant.
