Abstract
Lors du refroidissement de l'acide qui est extrait d'un appareil d'absorption d'une usine de production d'acide sulfurique, l'acide est pompé depuis un réservoir de pompage d'acide dans un échangeur thermique puis ramené à l'appareil d'absorption. De l'eau, servant de milieu caloporteur, est chauffée dans l'échangeur thermique par la chaleur de l'acide et est convertie, au moins partiellement, en vapeur. L'eau est séparée de la vapeur. L'acide est apporté jusqu'à un espace d'enveloppe de l'échangeur thermique et l'eau est apportée jusqu'aux éléments caloporteurs disposés dans l'espace d'enveloppe et convertie, au moins partiellement, en vapeur, la vapeur produite dans l'échangeur thermique se sépare de l'eau dans un collecteur de vapeur, et l'eau ainsi obtenue est remise en circulation jusqu'à l'échangeur thermique à l'aide d'une pompe.
