Izgudrojums attiecas uz pārtikas, lauksaimniecības, skaistumkopšanas un farmācijas nozari.Piedāvātais izgudrojums ir paņēmiens ferulīnskābes atbrīvošanai no graudaugu blakusproduktiem (klijām) ar enzimātisku hidrolīzi, saraujot estera saiti starp arabinozes atlikumu un ferulīnskābi. Enzimātiskā hidrolīze tiek nodrošināta ar komerciāli pieejamiem lignocelulozi-degradējošiem multi-enzīmu kompleksiem.Ferulīnskābi saturošu produktu var izmantot, zāļu, kosmētikas, pārtikas piedevu ražošanā.
