Abstract

The invention concerns to filtering rigid elements/blocks. Known filtering block-elements, which are used, for example, in water-economic and municipal services, are not cold-resistant in the water-saturated condition and do not stand the deformations arising at freezing of water in pores of a material. The given invention offers a rigid filtering cold-resistant element on the basis of fractioned granular mineral material (sand, gravel, rubble, crushed stone, expanded clay aggregate, broken brick or ceramics, shiver of glass) and thermoplastic polymers (polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate) used as adhesive. Specified thermoplastic polymers at negative temperatures are capable to the large reversible (highly elastic) deformations and provides frost resistance of a filtering element in the water-saturated condition at negative temperatures of application. Formation of a filtering element occurs as a result of flowing the melted polymer around/over the preliminary heated up surface of mineral granular material. The particles of polymer are thoroughly contacted in the mixer with grains of mineral material warmed up to melting temperature of polymer and are sticked together with grains of mineral aggregate. During mixing of components formation of a polymeric film on each grain of mineral material takes place. Then the mass is taken from the mixer, and the filtering element is formed at pressure up to 1.0 MPa. It hardens while cooling that determines readiness of a product for application.

Description

Filtrējošs elements dabas ūdens un notekūdeņu attīrīšanaiA filtering element for purifying natural water and wastewater

Izgudrojuma aprakstsDescription of the Invention

Izgudrojums attiecas uz cietiem filtrējošiem elementiem/blokiem, kas izmantojami ūdens attīrīšanai un notekūdeņu attīrīšanai komunālajā saimniecībā.The invention relates to solid filtering elements / units for use in water treatment and sewage treatment in a utility household.

Ir zināmi [1; 2] porainie filtrējošie elementi uz graudaino minerālmateriālu, piemēram, smilts, grants, un cementa, fenolsveķu, bakelīta, laku un citu saistvielu bāzes, bet zināmie filtrējišie elementi ar ūdeni piesātinātā stāvoklī ir trausli un neiztur deformāciju, kas rodas, ūdenim sasalstot to porās.[1; 2] porous filtering elements based on granular minerals such as sand, gravel, and cement, phenolic resin, bakelite, varnish and other binders, but known water-saturated filtering elements are brittle and do not withstand the deformation caused by freezing of water in their pores.

Izgudrojuma mērķis ir radīt cietu aukstumizturīgu filtrējošu elementu. Šo mērķi var sasniegt, ja cieta filtrējoša elementa veidošanā kā saistvielu pielieto termoplastiskus polimērus, kuriem pie negatīvām temperatūrām ir lielas spējas uz augsti elastiskām deformācijām, piem., sevišķi maza blīvuma polietilēns šo īpašību saglabā līdz aptuveni -80°C temperatūrai. The object of the invention is to provide a solid cold-resistant filtering element. This goal can be achieved by using thermoplastic polymers as binder in the formation of a rigid filtering element, which at high temperatures have a high capacity for highly elastic deformation, e.g.

The present invention provides a frost-resistant solid filter element based on fractionated granular mineral materials (sand, gravel, crushed stone, expanded clay, brick fragments, broken glass waste) and thermoplastic polymeric material (polyethylene, polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate) as a base. These thermoplastic polymers have high potential for reversible (highly elastic) deformation at negative temperatures, which provides the filter element with cold water saturation at negative temperatures. Formation of the filtering element occurs when the molten polymer ishes over the preheated granular material. The polymer particles in the mixer are heated, melted and clumped in contact with the granular particles heated to the melting point of the polymer. During the mixing of the components, a polymer film forms around each grain of the aggregate.

Piedāvātā filtrējošā elementa izgatavošanas metode raksturīga ar to, ka graudainais minerālais materiāls ar uzdoto graudainību iepriekš tiek uzkarsēts līdz termoplastiskās saistvielas tecēšanas temperatūrai, pēc tam, uzsildītajam, graudainajam materiālam apsildāmā maisītājā, kas aprīkots ar piedziņu, pievieno termoplastisko materiālu, kura daudzumu izvēlas robežās no 3 līdz 26% no graudainā materiāla masas. Pēc termoplastiskā materiāla pievienošanas maisīšanu turpina vēl 1-2 minūtes. Pēc tam materiālu izvada no maisītāja, formē filtrējošo elementu pie spiediena līdz 1,0 MPa un to atdzesē, ļaujot saistvielai sacietēt, līdz izstrādājums kļūst gatavs lietošanai. The proposed method of making a filter element is characterized in that the granular mineral material with the specified grain size is preheated to the flow temperature of the thermoplastic binder, and thereafter, the heated granular material in a heated mixer equipped with a drive is added in a quantity of 3 up to 26% by weight of granular material. After the addition of the thermoplastic material, stirring is continued for another 1-2 minutes. The material is then removed from the mixer, the filter element is formed at a pressure of up to 1.0 MPa and cooled, allowing the binder to solidify until the article is ready for use.
