Abstract

In order to implement the invention a device (patent LV 12973) is used that transforms rectilinear reciprocating motion into rotary motion and consists of two cylindrical disks (4 and 5) having different diameters. The large disk (4) functions as a flywheel, and the smaller disk (5) is placed inside the large disk (4) on the own axis or in the slot with a bearing. Peripheral points of the disk (5) during the rotating around its own axis coincide with the axis center of the flywheel (4). On one of the points of the disk (5), which coincides with the axis of the flywheel (4), the power-driven axle (6) is installed that through the guides receives or transmit the reciprocating motion. The above mentioned device is used for creation of two versions of the internal-combustion engine, which is characterized in that no crankshafts with connecting rods are used in their design. Both constructions can be used also in order to manufacture four-stroke engines and diesel engines. In the first version of the engine (fig. 2), the two-cycle two-cylinder internal-combustion engine contains a single device (4, 5, 6) described above, which is placed inside the piston (3) with the cylinder (2). Such design allows to make the engines having small dimensions and large power. In the design of the second version of the engine (fig. 3), the two above described devices (4, 5, 6) are rigidly mounted on the power takeoff shaft (10). They are arranged in the engine case (1) in alignment with each other symmetrically about an axis of cylinder (2). Between the shafts (10) there is mounted a piston (3) with a cylinder (2). The piston is hinged by means of one drive axle (6) simultaneously with both shafts, and such connection allows to the both devices of transformation simultaneously and synchronously rotate in opposite directions when the engine runs.
