본 발명은 영상기기의 수퍼임포즈 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 종래에은 임포우즈를 수행하던 중에 외부로부터인가되는 영상신호가 없어지더라도 임포우즈를 계속해서 수행하는 오동작을 행하는 문제점과 외부로 부터 입력되는 영상신호가 엔티에스씨 방식일 경우 화면사이즈 및 가사 폰트 사이즈가 바뀌는 등 화면상태가 팔 방식을 기준으로 했을 때와 현격한 차이나 나서 사용자의 혼란을 불러일으키는 문제점이 있다. 따라서, 본 발명은 외부 영상신호에 대하여 향상 신호유무를 감지하여 신호가 있는 경우에 한하여 수퍼임포즈를 수행하도록 하여 외부 영상신호의 유무감지에 대한 신뢰도를 높이고, 엔터에서씨 영상입력에 대하여 수퍼임포즈가 되지않도록 하여 사용자의 혼란을 미연에 방지하고, 외부 영상 신호에 대해 수퍼임포즈를 하던 중 외부 영상신호가 없어지면 내부 배경 화면으로 자동절환하도록 하여 영상기기의 오동작을 방지하도록 한다.The present invention relates to a superimposition apparatus and method of an imaging apparatus.
