Abstract

안전 조향 컬럼이 보호 조향 튜브(1)내에 회전 가능하게 장착된 조향 핸들 축(4)을 포함하고, 센서로 제어되는 공지된 방법으로 팽창할 수 있는 백에 관한 작용을 하는 에어백 시스템의 가스 발생기(12)가 축내에 위치된다. 조향 핸들 축(4)과 또한 보호 조향 튜브(1) 모두 각자의 안쪽에 끼워맞춰서, 포개지고 에너지 흡수에 의해 동반되는 화살표(9) 방향으로 이동 가능한 튜브부(6,7;10,11)로 구성되므로, 충돌 사고시 전체 조향 컬럼은 하나가 다른 하나내에 설비된 비교적 이동 가능한 튜브부의 양에 따라 종방향으로 길이가 변한다. 조향 핸들축(4)내에 가스 발생기(12)의 장착은, 에어백 시스템의 잔존 요소를 수용하도록 조향 컬럼내, 특히 조향 핸들내에 요구되는 공간이 비교적 작을 수 있고 조향 핸들이 작은 중량일 수 있는 중요한 장점을 가져온다.

제1도는 본 발명에 따른 조향 컬럼의 상부의 종단면도이고, 제2도는 본 발명에 따른 조향 컬럼의 상부의 제1변형예의 종단면도이고, 제3도는 본 발명에 따른 조향 컬럼의 상부의 제2변현예의 종단면도이고, 제4도는 제3도의 면 Ⅳ-Ⅳ에 따라 얻어진, 조향 컬럼의 단면도이고, 제5도는 본 발명에 다른 조향 컬럼의 상부의 제3변형예의 종단면이고, 그리고 제6도는 제5도의 면 Ⅳ-Ⅳ에 따라 얻어진, 조향 컬럼의 단면도이다.

Claims (11)

  1. 회전 가능하게 장착된 조향 핸들 축(4, 14, 23)과, 조향 핸들과 그리고 가스 발생기(12)와 팽창성 백 및 패드부로 구성된 에어백 시스템을 적어도 포함하는 자동차의 조향을 위한 조향 컬럼에 있어서, 가스 발생기(12)가 조향 핸들 축(4, 14, 23)내에 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 조향 컬럼.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 조향 핸들 축(4, 14, 23)이 보호 조향 튜브(1, 17, 24)내에 적어도 부분적으로 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 조향 컬럼.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 가스 발생기(12)가 조향 핸들 축(4, 14, 23)내에 삽입 가능한 카트리지-형 유니트로서 형성되고 상기 축내에 공정되도록 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 조향 컬럼.
  4. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 조향 핸들 축(4, 14, 23)이 상기 백의 부풀림을 위해 필요한 가스 또는 가스들의 준비와 생산에 소용되는 장치 및/또는 하나 이상의 물질을 직접 수용하도록 크기가 정해지고 형상화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 조향 컬럼.
  5. 제2항 내지 제4항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 조향 핸들 축(4)과 보호 조향 튜브(1)가 자체 공동 종촉(3)의 방향에서 길이가 종방향으로 변화할 수 있도록 배열되고, 종방향 길이 변화는 에너지-흡수 요소의 사용에 의해 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 조향 컬럼.
  6. 제5항 있어서, 조향 핸들 축(4)과 보호 조향 튜브(1)는 하나에 다른 하나가 끼워 맞춰지도록 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 조향 컬럼.
  7. 제5항 있어서, 조향 핸들 축(14) 및/또는 보호 조향 튜브(1)가 변형되는 부를 갖추고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 조향 컬럼.
  8. 제7항 있어서, 적어도 조향 핸들 축(14)이 파형 튜브부(1)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조향 컬럼.
  9. 제1항 내지 제4항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 강성 조향 핸들 축(23)과 강성 보호 조향 튜크(25)인 것을 특징으로 하는 조향 컬럼.
  10. 제1항 내지 제4항 또는 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 보호 조향 튜브(17,24)의 종축(3)에 수직으로 위치 조정을 허용하는 장착대(18)를 특징으로 하는 조향 컬럼.
  11. 제1항 내지 제8항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 보호 조향 튜브(1)의 종축(3)에 수직으로 그리고 평행하게 위치 조종을 허용하는 장착대(2)를 특징으로 하는 조향 컬럼.
