Abstract

본 발명은 휘도신호의 흑레벨 보정장치에 관한 것으로, 종래에는 방송국에서 송출되는 방송신호의 영상이나 외부에서 입력되는 외부 입력신호의 영상을 음극선관에 디스플레이하는 중에 음극선관에 디스플레이되는 영상의 배경이 어두우면 배경과 함께 디스플레이되는 물체의 영상이 선명하게 디스플레이되지않아 배경과 물체를 구분하지 못했다. 본 발명은 방송국에서 수신되는 영상신호의 휘도신호나 외부에서 입력되는 영상신호의 휘도신호 중 중간 레벨값 이하(흑레벨)로 입력되는 휘도신호에 대하여 기준 중간레벨값과 입력되는 휘도신호의 중간레벨값의 차이값을 가산하여 휘도신호의 흑레벨을 보정함으로써, 음극선관에 디스플레이되는 영상 중 배경과 물체를 보다 선명하게 구분할 수 있는 것이다.

Claims (3)

  1. 입력 휘도 신호(Y)가 일정레벨을 유지하도록 클램핑하며 이를 디지탈신호로 변환하는 클램프 및 아날로그/디지탈 변환부를 포함하는 휘도신호 레벨 조절회로에 있어서, 상기 클램프 및 아날로그/디지탈 변환부에서 출력되는 휘도신호(Y)의 중간레벨값을 검출하는 중간레벨 검출부; 상기 중간 레벨 검출부에서 검출되는 중간레벨값과 휘도신호의 기준 중간레벨값을 대비하여 차이값을 연산하는 차이값 연산부; 상기 클램프 및 아날로그/디지탈 변환부에서 출력되는 휘도신호 중 1H의 휘도신호를 메모리하는 1H 메모리부; 상기 1H 메모리부에서 메모리되는 휘도신호 중 기준 중간레벨값이하의 휘도신호만을 검출하는 중간레벨 이하 검출부; 상기 중간레벨 이하 검출부에서 검출되는 휘도신호에 상기 차이값 연산부에서 출력되는 차이값을 가산하는 가산부; 상기 가산부에서 출력되는 휘도신호 중 기준 중간레벨값 이상의 휘도신호를 클리핑하는 클리퍼; 상기 1H 메모리부에서 출력되는 휘도신호를 소정시간 지연시켜 출력하는 라인 지연부; 상기 1H 메모리부에서 출력되는 휘도신호의 중간레벨값과 기준 중간레벨값을 대비하여 “로우/하이” 레벨의 스위칭신호를 출력하는 비교부; 상기 비교부에서 출력되는 스위칭신호에 의해 “온/오프” 동작하여 클리퍼의 출력과 라인 지연부의 출력을 선택하는 스위칭IC를 포함하여 구성되어짐을 특징으로 하는 휘도신호의 흑레벨 보정장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 비교부는 입력되는 휘도신호의 중간레벨값이 기준 중간레벨값에 비해 작으면 “로우” 레벨의 스위칭신호를 출력하고 입력되는 휘도신호의 중간레벨값이 기준 중간레벨값에 비해 크면 “하이” 레벨의 스위칭신호를 출력하도록 구성되어짐을 특징으로 하는 휘도신호의 흑레벨 보정장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 1H 메모리부에서 인가되는 휘도신호는 중간 레벨 이하검출부와 라인 지연부에서 동일 시간씩 지연되어짐을 특징으로 하는 휘도신호의 흑레벨 보정장치.
