Abstract

본 발명은 시청자 선택형 자막방송방법 및 그 수신방법에 관한 것으로서, 그히 텔레비젼 신호의 매 필드마다 방송신호에 영향을 주지않는 임의의 한 수평라인에 자막정보를 삽입하여 전송하는 시청자 선택형 자막방송방법에 있어서, 자막정보는 미리 정해진 복수의 상용문자들을 지정하기 위한 2바이트로 구성된 한글 완성형코드로된 문자코드 또는 자막제어기능을 독립적으로 수행하기 위한 2바이트로 구성된 제어코드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
따라서, 본 발명에서는 문자의 전송속도의 향상 및 간단한 디코딩의 효과를 거둘 수 있다.

Claims (4)

  1. 텔레비젼 신호의 매 필드마다 방송신호에 영향을 주지않는 임의의 한 수평라인에 자막정보를 삽입하여 전송하는 시청자 선택형 자막방송방법에 있어서, 상기 자막정보는 미리 정해진 복수의 상용문자들을 지정하기 위한 2바이트로 구성된 문자코드 또는 자막제어기능을 독립적으로 수행하기 위한 2바이트로 구성된 제어코드를 포함하는것을 특징으로 하는 시청자 선택형 자막방송방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 문자코드는 한글8비트 완성형 코(KSC5601)인 것을 특징으로 하는 시청자 선택형 자막방송방법.
  3. 텔레비젼 신호의 매 필드마다 방송신호에 영향을 주지않는 임의의 한 수평라인에 자막정보를 삽입하여 전송하는 시청자 선택형 자막방송방법에 있어서, 제어정보와 함께 대사자막의 문자정보 또는 부가문자정보를 입력하는 단계; 제어정보를 모드제어비트 및 패리티비트와 조합하여 2바이트의 제어코드로 발생하고, 문자정보를 모드제어비트 및 패리티비트와 조합하여 한글 완성형 코드로 된 문자코드로 발생하는 단계; 상기 제어코드 또는 문자코드를 입력하여 디지탈변조된 자막신호로 출력하는 단계; 및 상기 자막신호를 비디오신호의 매 필드의 소정 주사선에 싣는 단계를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시청자 선택형 자막방송방법.
  4. 텔레비젼 신호의 매 필드마다 방송신호에 영향을 주지않는 임의의 한 수평라인에 자막정보를 삽입하여 전송하는 시청자 선택형 자막방송방법의 수신방법에 있어서, 수신되는 텔레비젼 신호의 비디오신호로부터 자막신호를 추출하는 단계; 추출된 자막신호로부터 디지탈 데이터를 복원시키는 단계; 복원된 데이터의 에러를 검출하는 단계; 데이터의 제어코드를 디코딩하고 문자코드에 대응하는 문자데이터를 한글 완성형코드에 의한 문자데이터가 저장된 폰트롬으로부터 리드하여 디스플레이 메모리에 저장하는 단계; 디코딩된 제어정보에 응답하여 디스플레이 메모리에 저장된 문자데이터를 비디오신호로 변환하여 스크린상에 디스플레이하는 단계를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시청자 선택형 자막방송의 수신방법.
