Abstract

본 발명은 연장인자 2(elongation factor 2, EF-2)의 프로모터(promoter)를 포함하는 발현벡터에 관한 것이다. 좀 더 구체적으로, 본 발명은 닭의 EF-2 프로모터 약 650bp의 염기서열, 및 생리학적으로 중요한 각종 진핵세포 단백질을 효율적으로 대량 발현시키기 위하여 전기 염기서열의 유전자를 프로모터로 이용하는 발현벡터에 관한 것이다. EF-2프로모터를 포함하는 본 발명의 발현벡터는 폭넓은 숙주세포에서 목적단백질을 대량으로 발현할 수 있으므로, 고가의 생리활성물질 등을 보다 효율적이고도 경제적으로 제조할 수 있으며, 또한 SV-40 및 EF-1α프로모터와는 달리 혈청이 없는 배지에서도 다양한 숙주세포에서 그 프로모터의 활성을 가질 수 있으므로, 산업적인 측면에서 훨씬 경제적이라고 할 수 있다.The present invention relates to an expression vector comprising a promoter of elongation factor 2 (EF-2).
