Abstract

본 발명은 광디스크 플레이어의 포커스서치 및 포커스 자동이득제어 방법에 관한 것으로, 종래에는 포커스 서치시 디스크 표면이 깨끗하지 못할 경우 위상을 검출하는데 상당히 어렵고, 정확도가 떨어지는 문제점이 있다. 따라서, 본 발명은 포커스 서치동작과 포커스 자동이득제어를 동시에 수행하도록 하여 사용자에게 이득 제어시 정확도를 높이고, 마이크로 컴퓨터가 시간제약을 받지 않도록 한다.

Claims (2)

  1. 자동이득제어(AGC) 명령 입력시 수십 ㎐의 싸인파를 발생시키는 제1단계와, 상기 제1단계에서 발생한 싸인파에 대하여 보상 및 노이즈를 제거한 후 FZC위치를 검출하여 포커스 서보를 온시키는 제2단계와, 상기 제2단계에서 포커스 서보-온시 FGC에 해당하는 싸인파를 발생하는 제3단계와, 상기 제3단계에서 발생한 싸인파에 그 싸인파에 대해 보상 및 노이즈를 제거한 싸인파의 최대/최소값과 그들의 위상을 비교하는 제4단계와, 상기 제4단계에서 비교한 결과에 따라 이득을 자동으로 조절하도록 하는 제5단계로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 광디스크 플레이어의 포커스 서치 및 포커스 자동이득제어 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 포커스 서보 뿐만아니라 크랙킹 서보에 대하여도 사용할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광디스크 플레이어의 포커스 서치 및 포커스 자동이득제어 방법.
