Abstract

본 발명은 액정 표시 장치의 패널에 관한 것으로서, 종래의 ITO만으로 형성되어 왔던 ITO 더미 패드 부분에 부분적으로 금속 패턴을 형성하고 금속 패턴의 한 끝 부분에 버니어 패턴을 형성함으로써 액정 표시 장치의 패널과 TCP와의 접착시 오정렬과 도전성 파티클(particle)의 상태를 확인하기가 쉬운 액정 표시 장치의 패널이다. 또한, 본 발명에 의한 액정 표시 장치의 패널은 ITO 더미 패드를 금속 패턴으로만 단일하게 형성하지 않고, 금속 패턴과 ITO로 형성하여 접착성을 높이고, 접착의 리웍(rework)을 용이하게 한다.

제3도는 본 발명의 실시예에 의한 액정 표시 장치에서의 패널의 OLB 패드 평면도이다.
제6도는 본 발명의 실시예에 의한 액정 표시 장치의 패널과 TCP와 접착한 상태에서, ITO 패드 부분의 구조를 도시한 평면도이다.

Claims (8)

  1. 데이터/게이트 패드부, 상기 데이터/게이트 패드와 간격을 두고 있으며 오정렬을 검사하기 위한 패턴을 포함하고 있는 더미 패드부를 포함하는 액정 표시 장치의 패널.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 더미 패드부에는 투명한 도전 물질로 이루어진 투명 더미 패드가 형성되어 있으며, 상기 투명 더미 패드의 일부에 상기 오정렬을 검사하기 위한 패턴이 형성되어 있는 액정 표시 장치의 패널.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 오정렬을 검사하기 위해 패턴이 불투명한 금속으로 형성되어 있는 액정 표시 장치의 패널.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 금속 패턴에 버니어 패턴을 포함하고 있는 액정 표시 장치의 패널.
  5. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 금속 패턴이 크롬으로 형성되어 있는 액정 표시 장치의 패널.
  6. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 금속 패턴이 탄탈륨으로 형성되어 있는 액정 표시 장치의 패널.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 더미 패드부는 금속 패드로 형성되어 있는 더미 패드를 더 포함하는 액정 표시 장치의 패널.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 더미 패드부의 상기 금속 패드의 끝 부분 위에 형성되어 있는 ITO 막을 더 포함하는 액정 표시 장치의 패널.
