Abstract

본 발명은 비동기 전달모드(ATM) 교환시스템에서 고정속도 서비스 연동을 위한 셀 조립/분해 장치에 관한 것으로, 현재 ATM셀조립/분해기의 개발 현황을 보면 주로 광대역 터미너어댑터 등의 단말 장치에서 개발되고 있으나 이는 하나 또는 두 개 정도의 연결만을 지원하기 때문에 대규모 가입자를 수용하는 교환시스템에 적용하기는 적당치 않으나, 본 발명의 셀조립/분해기는 교환시스템에서의 적용을 목표로 기본 256개의 연결을 지원하고 모듈단위로 추가함에 의해 용량 확장이 용이해지는 효과가 있다.The present invention relates to a cell assembly / disassembly device for a fixed speed service interworking in an asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) switching system, the current state of development of ATM cell assembly / disassembly is mainly developed in a terminal device such as a broadband terminal adapter However, since it supports only one or two connections, it is not suitable to be applied to an exchange system that accommodates a large number of subscribers. Claims (1)

ATM 교환 시스템에 적용되는 셀 조립/분해장치에 있어서, 8개의 입출력 서브하이웨이에 대한 라인 인터페이스를 담당하는 서브하이웨이 인터페이스수단(23); 상기 서브 하이웨이 인터페이수단(23)을 통해 외부로부터 2쌍의 클럭 및 프레임동기 신호를 수신하고, 클럭 상태를 감시하여 하나의 클럭 및 프레임동기신호를 선택하여 출력하는 클럭선택수단(24); 상기 클럭선택수단(24)에 연결되어 상기 서브 하이웨이 인터페이스수단(23)으로부터 8개의 직렬 서브하이웨이 데이타를 8비트 병렬 데이타스트림으로 다중화하여 전송하는 다중화수단(25); 상기 다중화수단(25)으로부터 입력되는 병렬 타임슬롯 데이타를 수신하여 현재 연결이 설정된 유효한 채널에 대해서 해당 채널 데이타를 조립하여 외부의 ATM 스위치 인터페이스로 전송하는 셀조립수단(26); 상기 셀 조립수단(26)에 연결되어 셀조립에 필요한 제어정보 및 전송을 위해 조립중인 채널 데이타를 저장하는 셀조립용 메모리수단(27); 상기 ATM스위치 인터페이스로부터 수신된 ATM 셀을 임시 저장하는 셀수신 선입선출메모리 수단(28); 로칼루프백 모드가 지정된 경우에는 상기 셀조립수단(26)으로부터 출력된 제어신호 및 셀데이타가 상기 셀 수신 선입선출메모리수단(28)으로 입력되도록 하는 로칼루프백 수단(33); 상기 셀 수신 선입선출메모리수단(28)에 저장된 셀을 읽어 셀헤더내의 연결 식별용 VPI(Vitrual Path Identifier)/VCI(Vitrual Channel Indetifier)에 대응되는 서브하이웨이 채널을 찾아 해당 채널용으로 할당된 버퍼에 셀의 유료부하 데이타를 저장하고 해당 채널 타이밍을 맞춰 저장된 데이터를 옥텟 단위로 전송하는 셀분해수단(29); 상기 셀 분해 수단(29)에 연결되어 셀 분해에 필요한 제어정보 및 전송을 위해 분해중인 채널 데이타를 저장하는 셀 분해용 메모리 수단(30); 상기 셀분해수단(29)으로부터 8비트 병렬 데이터를 수신하여 서브하이웨이별로 역다중화한후, 역다중화된 직렬 비트 스트림을 8개의 서브하이웨이로 전송하는 역다중화수단(31); 및 외부의 연동제어부로부터 셀 조립/분해에 있어 필요한 연결 설정/해제 정보, 스위치 루팅 정보 및 기타 제어정보를 수신하여 상기 셀조립수단(26), 셀분해수단(29)으로 전달하여 상기 셀조립용 메모리수단(27) 및 셀분해용 메모리수단(30)에 저장되도록 하고, 상기 셀조립수단(26) 및 셀분해수단(29)의 상태정보 및 통계 정보를 수집하여 VME 버스를 통해 상기 연동제어부로 전달하는 VME 인터페이스수단(32)을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 비동기 전달모드(ATM) 교환시스템에서 고정속도 서비스 연동을 위한 셀 조립/분해 장치.A cell assembly / decomposition apparatus applied to an ATM switching system, comprising: subhighway interface means (23) for performing line interfaces for eight input / output subhighways; Clock selection means (24) for receiving two pairs of clock and frame synchronization signals from the outside through the sub highway interface means (23), monitoring a clock state, and selecting and outputting one clock and frame synchronization signal; Multiplexing means (25) connected to said clock selecting means (24) for multiplexing eight serial subhighway data from said sub highway interface means (23) into an 8-bit parallel data stream; Cell assembly means (26) for receiving the parallel timeslot data input from the multiplexing means (25) and assembling the corresponding channel data for a valid channel for which a current connection is established and transmitting it to an external ATM switch interface; A cell assembly memory means 27 connected to the cell assembly means 26 for storing control information necessary for cell assembly and channel data being assembled for transmission; A cell reception first-in first-out memory means (28) for temporarily storing an ATM cell received from the ATM switch interface; A locale loopback means 33 for causing a control signal and cell data outputted from the cell assembly means 26 to be inputted into the cell reception first-in first-out memory means 28 when a locale loopback mode is designated; Read a cell stored in the cell reception first-in first-out memory means 28 to find a subhighway channel corresponding to a connection path identification virtual path identifier (VPI) / VCI (Vitrual Channel Indetifier) in a cell header, and to a buffer allocated for the channel.
