Abstract
본 발명은 배터리의 상태를 자동 점검할 수 있는 자동차 배터리의 자동 점검 장치 및 방법을 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다.
본 발명은 전해액과 양극판 사이의 화학작용에 의하여 충전 및 방전을 하는 배터리; 상기 배터리 내부의 전해액량을 감지하는 수준측정계; 상기 배터리 내부의 전해액 비중을 감지하는 비중계; 상기 배터리와 전기적으로 연결되면 소정의 전류가 흐르는 저항(R)과 그 저항(R)을 상기 배터리와 전기적으로 연결시키는 스위치(S/W)로 구성된 배터리 부하시험수단; 전해액량과 전해액의 비중과 배터리 전압을ECU에서 판단할 수 있는 신호로 변환하여ECU로 입력시키는 배터리 진상기단모듈;상기 배터리 진단모듈로부터 입력된 전해액 수준, 전해액 비중 및 배터리 전압을 분석하여, 점검 및 교체가 필요하다고 판단될 경우, 해당 부분의 점검신호를 출력시키는 ECU;상기ECU로부터 출력되는 점검 신호를 나타내는 디스플레이수단으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
이에 따라, 본 발명은 배터리의 상태를 수시로 점검하므로서, 배터리에 발생된 문제점을 조기에 발견하여, 과방전 및 과충전으로 인하여 배터리 성능이 저하되는 것을 방지할 수 있는 효과가 있다.

제1도는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 자동차 배터리의 자동 점검 장치를 나타내는 블럭도이다.
제2도는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 자동차 배터리의 자동 점검 방법을 나타내는 흐름도이다.
Claims (3)
- 밀폐된 용기 속에 양극판과 음극판이 일정한 간격으로 장착되어 있고, 용기 내부에 전해액인 묽은 황산(H2SO4으로 채워져 있으며, 전해액과 양극판 사이의 화학작용에 의하여 충전 및 방전을 하는 배터리(10); 상기 배터리 내부의 전해액량을 감지하여 배터리 진단모듈(100)로 입력시키는 수준측정계(110); 상기 배터리 내부의 전해액 비중을 감지하여 배터리 진단모듈(100)로 입력시키는 비중계(120); ECU(80) 내부에 설치되며, 상기 배터리(10)와 전기적으로 연결되면 소정의 전류가 흐르는 저항(R)과, 그 저항(R)을 상기 배터리(10)와 전기적으로 연결시키는 스위치(S/W)로 구성된 배터리 부하시험수단(130); 상기 수준측정계(110)로부터 입력된 전해액량과, 상기 비중계(120)로부터 입력된 전해액의 비중과, 상기 배터리 부하시험수단(130)에 의해 발생되는 배터리 전압을 ECU(80)에서 판단할 수 있는 신호로 변환시켜 ECU(80)로 입력시키는 배터리 진단모듈(100); 상기 배터리 부하시험수단(130)을 구동시키고, 상기 배터리 진단모듈(100)에 구동신호를 입력시키며, 상기 배터리 진단모듈(100)로부터 입력된 전해액 수준, 전해액 비중 및 배터리 전압을 분석하여, 점검 및 교체가 필요하다고 판단될 경우, 해당 부분의 점검신호를 출력시키는 ECU(80); 상기 ECU(80)로부터 출력되는 점검신호를 시각적으로 나타내는 디스플레이수단(200)으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차 배터리의 자동 점검 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서; 상기 디스플레이수단(200)은, 자동차의 인스트루먼트 패널에 설치되며, 증류수 모드와 전해액 모드와 배터리 모드로 구성됨으로써, 배터리의 증류수 보충신호가 입력되면 증류수 모드가 배터리의 전해액 보충신호가 입력되면 전해액모드가 배터리 교체신호가 입력되면 배터리모드가 각각 점등되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차 배터리의 자동 점검 장치.
- 배터리 진단모듈(100)을 통하여 배터리(10)의 전해액량과 전해액 비중을 입력받는 단계(S10); 상기 단계(S10)에서 입력된 전해액량이 소정의 정규 전해액량에해당되는지를 판단하는 단계(S20); 상기 단계 (S20)에서 전해액량이 소정의 정규 전해액량에 해당되지 않는다고 판단될 경우 디스플레이수단(200)으로 증류수 보충신호를 출력시키는 단계(S30); 단계(S20) 및 단계 (S30) 다음에, 상기 단계(S10)에서 입력된 전해액 비중이 소정의 임계 최소값보다 큰 지를 판단하는 단계(S40); 상기 단계(S40)에서 전해액 비중이 소정의 임계 최소값보다 작다고 판단되며, 디스플레이수단(200)으로 전해액 보충신호를 출력시키는 단계(S50); 단계(S40) 및 단계(S50) 다음에,배터리(10)에 소정의 전류가 소정의 시간동안 흐르도록 배터리 부하시험수단(130)의 스위치(S/W)를 소정의 시간동안 온(on)시킨 후 다시 단락시키는 단계(S60); 상기 단계(S60) 다음에, 배터리(10)의 전압이 소정의 기준 전압 이상인지를 판단하는 단계(S70); 상기 단계(S70)에서 배터리(10)의 전압이 소정의 기준전압보다 작다고 판단될 경우 디스플레이수단(200)으로 배터리 교체 신호를 출력시키는 단계(S80)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차 배터리의 자동 점검 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
