Abstract

아르곤과 같은 불활성 가스와 수은을 발광관내에 주입한 고압수은등에 고연색 및 고효율을 위하여 메탈할로겐 화합물을 발광관내에 더욱 주입한 메탈할라이드 램프에 있어서, 상기한 불활성 가스, 수은, 메탈할로겐 화합물이외에 금속 Sc를 더욱 첨가한 메탈할라이드 램프는 우수한 시동특성 및 긴수명을 갖는다.

Claims (3)

  1. 불황성 가스, 수은, 메탈할로겐 화합물이 봉입된 메탈할라이드 발광관에 있어서, 상기한 발광관내에 Sc 금속을 더욱 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 메탈할라이드 발광관.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 메탈할로겐 화합물의 양은 0.3㎎/㎤ 내지 0.9㎎/㎤인 메탈할라이드 발광관.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 Sc 금속의 양은 Sc할로겐 화합물의 양에 대하여 0.9×10-2㎎/㎤ 내지 0.9×10-1㎎/㎤인 메탈할라이드 발광관.
