Abstract

1. 청구범위에 기재된 발명이 속한 기술분야
컴퓨터 시스템에서, 특히 컴펙트디스크 재생장치를 호스트컴퓨터 시스템 내부에 장착시켜 영상 및 오디오 신호를 재생하는 시스템에 관한 것이다.
2. 발명이 해결하려고 하는 기술적 과제
컴퓨터시스템에서의 컴펙트디스크를 통한 화상 및 음성정보의 재생은 각각의 보드(동화상보드나 사운드카드나 그리고, 그래픽카드등)에 따라 운영체계의 차이가 있어 설치하는데 어려웠던 문제점을 해결하고, 종래의 컴펙트디스크만이 구성된 재생장치에서 입력과 출력장치가 각각 따로 있어서 사용하는데 불편했던 문제점을 해결한다.
3. 발명의 해결방법의 요지
호스트컴퓨터 내부에 기존에 독자적으로 사용한 컴펙트디스크 재생장치를 하나의 보드형태로 장착하여 영상 및 오디오 신호를 재생하는 시스템을 제공한다.

Claims (3)

  1. 컴퓨터용 컴펙트디스크 재생장치에 있어서, 호스트컴퓨터 내부의 동작을 제어하는 전반적인 제어신호를 발생하는 제1제어수단과, 상기 제1제어수단으로부터 제어신호를 입력받아 컴펙트디스크 재생수단을 제어하는 신호를 발생하는 제2제어수단과, 상기 제1제어수단과 제2제어수단의 사이에 위치하여 상기 각각의 제어수단으로 전송되는 데이터를 인터페이싱 하는 인터페이싱수단으로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터용 컴펙트디스크 재생장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 인터페이싱 수단은, 상기 제1∼제2제어수단으로부터 발생된 제어신호를 일시저장하고, 씨디롬 드라이브로부터 발생되는 데이터를 입력받아 일시 저장하는 듀얼포트 메모리수단을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터용 컴펙트디스크 재생장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 인터페이싱 수단은 컴펙트디스크 재생장치에서 출력되는 영상신호를 호스트 컴퓨터의 모니터에 출력하는 기능을 가지고 있으며 호스트 컴퓨터의 아이에스에이 버스와 컴펙트 디스크 드라이버와 데이터 및 신호를 중계하는 역활을 하는 오버레이수단을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터용 컴펙트디스크 재생장치.
