Abstract

상기 발명의 CATV 디지탈 음향 시스템이 아날로그 영상 및 음향 프로그램들과 디지탈 음향 프로그램들의 통합 및 매끄러운 수신을 제공한다. 상기 시스템은 RF 변조 디지탈 데이터 스트림을 수신하기 위한 디지탈 음향 모듈을 갖는 셋탑 터미널(Settop terminal)로 구성된다. 상기의 셋탑 터미널은 아날로그 영상-음향 방송 및 디지탈 음향 방송의 동시적 수신을 가능하게 한다. 상기의 디지탈 음향 모듈은 셋탑 터미널과 디지탈 음향 모듈이 프로그램에 따라 신속하게 튜닝되는 주파수 분할RF튜너(tuner)를 포함할 수 있다. 하나의 TV 모니터 수상기가 셋탑 터미널로부터 받아들인 정상적인 영상 프로그램을 디스플레이하며, 또한 선택된 채널 및 프로그램 정보를 화면에 표시한다.

Claims (26)

  1. 디지탈 음향 신호, 아날로그 음향 신호를 포함하는 아날로그 영상 신호, 또는 디지탈 음향 신호를 포함하는 아날로그 영상 신호, 또는 디지탈 음향 신호를 포함하는 아날로그 영상 신호를 가질 수 있는 채널에서, 전송되는 라디오파를 선택적으로 수신하기 위한 튜너; 그리고 상기 튜너가 상기 라디오파를 디지탈로 변환시키며, 상기 선택된 채널에서 아날로그 정보 신호를 수신하며; 아날로그 음향 및 영상 프로세서가 아날로그 정보신호의 출력단자를 통해 TV모니터 수상기로 상기의 아날로그 정보 신호를 출력하기 위해, 상기 튜너에 연결되고; 상기 디지탈 음향 모듈 프로세서가 상기의 디지탈 음향 신호를 디지탈 음향 프로그램 신호 및 디지탈 프로그램 내용의 정보 신호(digital program content information signals)로 처리하며; 상기 디지탈 프로그램 내용정보 신호와 아날로그 정보(information)신호의 출력을 결합하는 장치; 그리고 상기 디지탈 프로그램 신호를 위한 출력 단자로 구성되는 아날로그 영상 방송과 디지탈 음향 방송을 매끄럽게 수신되고, 통합하기 위한 유선(cable) 또는 무선 TV 디지탈 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 장치가 상기 아날로그 정보 신호와 디지탈 음향 프로그램의 레벨(level)을 검출하는 장치와, 상기 레벨들을 등화(equalizing)시키는 장치를 가지는 유선 또는 무선 TV 디지탈 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 튜너의 음향 및 영상(A/V) 신호의 출력 레벨을 제어하기 위한 자동 이득 제어모듈(automatic gain control module)을 가지는 유선 또는 무선 TV 디지탈 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 자동 이득 제어 모듈이 수신되는 정보 신호에 따라 상기 아날로그 프로세서와 상기 디지탈 프로세서에 의해 선택적으로 제어 되는 유선 또는 무선 TV 디지탈 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 디지탈 음향 모듈이 또한 외부의 디코딩된(decoded) BTSC 스테레오 신호를 수신하기 위한 음향 입력 단자를 가지는 유선 또는 무선 TV 디지탈 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기의 디지탈 음향 모듈이, 하나는 외부로부터 입력되는 디코딩된 BTSC 스테레오 신호를 받아들이고, 다른 하나는 디지탈 프로그램 신호를 받아들이는 두개의 입력단자와 상기의 출력을 스테레오 시스템에 보내는 출력단자를 가지는 선택기 스위치로 구성되는 유선 또는 무선 TV 디지탈 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 디지탈 음향 모듈이 BTSC 디코드를 포함하며, 또한 상기 선택 스위치가 BTSC 디코드 음향 입력 신호를 받아들이는 제3의 입력 단자를 가지는 유선 또는 무선 TV 디지탈 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 상기의 아날로그 프로세서가 가입자의 명령이 입력되는 장치와 TV 모니터 수상기에 나타날 정보들을 출력하기 위한 장치를 가지는 유선 또는 무선 TV 디지탈 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 TV 모니터 수상기에 상기 디지탈 프로그램 내용의 정보를 표시(displaying)하기 위한 장치를 가지는 유선 또는 무선 TV 디지탈 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  10. 디지탈 음향 신호, 아날로그 음향 신호를 포함하는 아날로그 영상 신호, 또는 디지탈 음향 신호를 포함하는 아날로그 영상 신호를 가질 수 있는 채널에서, 전송되는 라디오파를 선택적으로 수신하기 위한 제1튜너; 그리고 상기 제1튜너가 상기 라디오파를 디지탈로 변환시키며, 상기 제1의 선택된 채널에서 아날로그 정보신호를 수신하며; 아날로그 음향 및 영상 프로세서가 아날로그 정보 신호 출력단자를 통해 TV 모니터 수상기에 상기 아날로그 정보 신호를 출력하기 위한 상기 제1튜너에 연결되며; 디지탈 음향 모듈이 디지탈 음형, 아날로그 음향을 갖는 아날로그 영상, 또는 디지탈 음향 채널에서의 아날로그 영상을 포함할 수 있는 제2의 선택된 채널에 대한 라디오파 전송을 수신하기 위한 제2의 튜너를 가지며, 디지탈 음향 모듈 프로세서가 상기 제2튜너로부터 상기 디지탈 음향 신호를 수신하기 위한 상기 제2튜너에 연결되고; 상기 디지탈 음향 모듈 프로세서가 상기 디지탈 음향 신호를, 디지탈 음향 프로그램 신호 그리고 또는 제2의 선택된 채널에서 수신된 정보 형태에 따르는 디지탈 프로그램 내용 정보 신호로 처리하고; 상기 디지탈 프로그램 내용 정보 신호와 아날로그 정보 신호를 결합하는 장치; 그리고 상기 디지탈 프로그램 신호를 위한 출력 단자를 가지는 아날로그 영상 방송과 함께 디지탈 음향 방송을 통합하고, 매끄러운 수신을 제공하기 위한 유선 또는 무선 TV 디지탈 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 장치가 상기 아날로그 정보 신호와 디지탈 음향 프로그램의 레벨(level)을 검출하는 장치와 상기 레벨들을 등화(equalizing)시키는 장치를 가지는 유선 또는 무선 TV 디지탈 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  12. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 튜너의 음향 및 영상(A/V) 신호의 출력 레벨을 제어하기 위한 자동 이득 제어 모듈(automatic gain control module)을 가지는 유선 또는 무선 TV 디지탈 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 상기 자동 이득 제어 모듈이 수신되는 정보 신호에 따라 상기 아날로그 프로세서와 상기 디지탈 프로세서에 의해 선택적으로 제어 되는 유선 또는 무선 TV 디지탈 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  14. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 디지탈 음향 모듈이 또한 외부의 디코딩된(decoded) BTSC 스테레오 신호를 수신하기 위한 음향 입력 단자를 가지는 유선 또는 무선 TV 디지탈 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  15. 제14항에 있어서, 상기의 디지탈 음향 모듈이, 하나는 외부로부터 입력되는 디코딩된 BTSC 스테레오 신호를 받아들이고, 다른 하나의 디지탈 프로그램 신호를 받아들이는 두개의 입력 단자와 상기 출력을 스테레오 시스템에 보내는 출력단자를 가지는 선택기 스위치로 구성된 유선 또는 무선 TV 디지탈 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  16. 제15항에 있어서, 상기 디지탈 음향 모듈이 BTSC 디코드를 포함하여, 또한 상기 선택 스위치가 BTSC 디코딩(decoding)된 음향 입력 신호르 받아들이는 제3의 입력 단자를 가지는 유선 또는 무선 TV 디지탈 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  17. 제10항에 있어서, 상기의 아날로그 프로세서가 가입자의 명령이 입력되는 장치와 TV 모니터 수상기에 나타날 정보들을 출력하기 위한 장치를 가지는 유선 또는 무선 TV 디지탈 통신 시스템을 위한 장치 장치.
  18. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 TV 모니터 수상기에 상기 디지탈 프로그램 내용의 정보를 표시(displaying)하기 위한 장치를 가지는 유선 또는 무선 TV 디지탈 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  19. 디지탈 데이터, 디지탈 음향 신호, 아날로그 음향 신호를 포함하는 아날로그 영상 신호, 또는 디지탈 음향 신호를 가지는 아날로그 영상 신호 또는 상기와 다른 음향-영상 신호들의 결합을 포함할 수 있는 채널에서 전송되는 라디오파(redio frequency)를 선택적으로 수신하기 위한 튜너; 그리고 상기 튜너가 상기의 라디오파를 상기의 선택된 채널에서 수신되어져야 할 디지탈 및 아날로그의 정보 신호들로 변환하고; 아날로그 정보신호의 출력 단자를 통해 TV 모니터 수상기에 상기의 아날로그 정보 신호를 출력하기 위한 아날로그 음향 및 영상 프로세서가 상기 튜너에 결합되고; 디지탈 모듈이 상기 튜너로부터 나오는 상기 디지탈 정보 신호를 수신하기 위해 상기의 튜너와 연결되는 디지탈 모듈 프로세서를 가지며; 상기 디지탈 모듈 프로세서가, 상기 디지탈 정보 신호를, 디지탈 프로그램 신호, 그리고 또는 상기 선택된 채널에서 수신되는 정보 신호의 형태에 따르는 디지탈 프로그램 내용 정보 신호들로 처리하며; 상기 디지탈 프로그램 내용 정보 신호와 아날로그 정보 신호 출력을 결합하는 장치; 그리고 상기 디지탈 프로그램 신호들을 위한 출력 단자를 가지는 디지탈 정보 신호의 방송파 아날로그 영상 신호 방송을 결합하고, 매끄러운 수신을 위한 유선 또는 무선 TV 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  20. 제19항에 있어서, 상기 장치가 상기 아날로그 정보 신호와 디지탈 음향 프로그램이 레벨(level)을 검출하는 장치와, 상기 레벨들을 등화(equalizing)시키는 장치를 가지는 유선 또는 무선 TV 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  21. 제19항에 있어서, 상기 튜너의 음향 및 영상(A/V)신호의 출력 레벨을 제어하기 위한 자동 이득 제어 모듈(automatic gain control module)을 가지는 유선 또는 무선 TV 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  22. 제21항에 있어서, 상기 자동 이득 제어 모듈이 수신되는 정보 신호에 따라 상기 아날로그 프로세서와 상기 디지탈 프로세서에 의해 선택적으로 제어되는 유선 또는 무선 TV 디지탈 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  23. 제19항에 있어서, 상기 디지탈 모듈이 또한 외부의 디코딩된(decoded) BTSC 스테레오 신호를 수신하기 위한 음향 입력 단자를 가지는 유선 또는 무선 TV 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  24. 제23항에 있어서, 상기의 디지탈 음향 모듈이, 하나는 외부로부터 입력되는 디코딩된 BTSC 스테레오 신호를 받아들이고, 다른 하나는 디지탈 프로그램 신호를 받아들이는 두개의 입력 단자와 상기의 출력을 외부의 장치로 보내는 출력단자를 가지는 선택기 스위치로 구성되는 유선 또는 무선 TV 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  25. 제19항에 있어서, 상기 아날로그 음향 및 영상 프로세서가 가입자의 명령을 받아들이는 장치와 TV 모니터 수상기에 표시되어지는 정보의 출력을 위한 장치로 구성되는 유선 또는 무선 TV 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
  26. 제19항에 있어서, 상기 TV 모니터 수상기에 상기 디지탈 프로그램 내용 정보를 표시하기 위한 장치로 구성되는 유선 또는 무선 TV 통신 시스템을 위한 장치.
