Abstract

A variable sample pulse generator for measuring a receiving power is provided to achieve an optimum number of sample. The generator comprises: a plurality of counter(301) for generating an adequate sampling ratio; a switching means(303) connected to the output of the counters(301) for selecting the adequate sampling ratio; and a selection means(302) for selecting two signals from outputs of the counter(301) and providing two signals to the A/D converter(206) and the position measurement means(203), respectively.
