모발 처리 조성물
본 발명은 모발 처리 조성물, 특히 퍼플루오로폴리에테르 물질을 함유하는 샴푸 또는 콘디쇼닝 조성물에 관한 것이다.
오일이 젖은 모발 건조된 모발의 빗질을 용이하게 하고, 부드러운 촉감을 제공하며 윤기를 좋게 하는 등의 콘디쇼닝 이점을 제공할 수 있다는 것이 알려져 있다. 그러나 일반적으로 이러한 오일은 고함량일 때만이 효과적이다.

유럽 특허 제360,292호(오시몬트)에는 지루(seborrhea)의 처리를 위한 폼 배쓰, 크린싱 밀크, 배쓰 오일 및 액체 비누에 퍼플루오로알킬 말단기를 갖는 퍼플루오로폴리에테르를 0.01∼20 중량% 사용하는 것에 대해 발표되어 있다.
놀랍게도 본 발명자는 매우 소량의 퍼를루오로폴리에테르 물질을 함유하는 모발 처리 조성물을 사용함으로써 모발의 콘디숀을 개선시킬 수 있다는 것을 알게 되었다.
모발 처리 조성물에 소량의 퍼를루오로폴리에테르 물질을 사용함으로써 얻을 수 있는 또 다른 잇점은 콘디쇼닝을 과도하게 사용할 염려가 적고, 세정성이 개선되며 지루의 분포를 예방할 수 있다는 것이다.
따라서 본 발명은 0.00001∼0.01중량%의 퍼를루오로폴리에테르 물질을 함유하는 모발 처리 조성물을 제공한다.
바람직하게 본 발명의 모발 처리 조성물은 샴푸 또는 콘디쇼닝 조성물이다.
이제 본 발명을 보다 자세히 설명하기로 한다.
퍼블루오로폴리에테르
본 발명의 모발 처리 조성물은 퍼블루오로폴리에테르 물질을 함유한다. 적합한 퍼블루오로폴리에테르 및 그 제조 방법이 영국 특허 제1,104,482호, 미합중국 특허 제3,242,218호, 미합중국 특허 제3,665,041호, 미합중국 특허 3,715,378호, 미합중국 특허 제4,523,039호, 유럽 특허 제148,482호 및 유럽 특허 제191,490호에 기재되어 있다.
바람직한 퍼블루오로폴리에테르 물질은 다음과 같은 식을 가지는 단일 또는 공중합체이다.

상기 식에서 Z는 1∼6, 바람직하게는 1∼3, 보다 바람직하게는 1 또는 2인 정수이고, y는 각 단량체에 대해 1∼6, 바람직하게는 1∼5, 보다 바람직하게는 1∼3 사이의 정수로부터 독립적으로 선택되며, n은 중합체주쇄 중 단량체의 총수를 나타내는 것으로, 1 이상, 바람직하게는 5 이상, 보다 바람직하게는 10 이상의 수이다.
y는 각 단량체 단위에 대해 독립적으로 선택되므로 본 발명의 중합체는 단일 중합체(각 단량체에 대해 y 값이 동일한 경우)일 수도 있고 공중합체(상이한 단량체에 대해 2이상의 y값을 서로 다른 선택하는 경우)일 수도 있다.
n은 중합체이 분자량이 100∼100,000, 바람직하게는 500∼50,000, 보다 바람직하게는 1,000∼10,000이 되도록 선택되는 것이 특히 바람직하다.
퍼블루오로폴리에테르(PFPE)의 특히 바람직한 말단기는 z가 1 또는 2인 말단기이다.
본 말명의 중합체에 사용하기에 적합한 단량체 단위는 예를들어 유럽 특허 제360,292호에 기재되어 있다. 특히 바람직한 중합체 주쇄 단량체는 다음과 같다:

특히 바람직한 중합체는 분지형 중합체 단위(예를들면 단량체 d) 및(또는) e))와 직선형 단량체(예를들면 a),b),c),f) 또는 g))의 조합이다. 특히 이소프로필에테르기와 메틸에테르기의 혼합물로 구성되는 중합체가 적합하다.
PFPE 물질의 특히 바람직한 예는 다음과 같은 식을 갖는 물질이다.
이 식에서 n 대 m의 비는 20∼40이고, 바람직하게는 주쇄 단량체가 PFPE쇄를 따라 임의적으로 분포되어 있다.
상기 식의 바람직한 PFPE 물질은 몬테플루오스사(Montefluous)에 의해 폼브린(FOMBLIN) HC라는 상품명으로 시판되고 있는 제품이다. 예를들면 폼브린 HC/04(평균 분자량 15000) 폼브린 HC/25(평균 분자량 3200) 및 폼브린 HC/R(평균 분자량 6600)이 있다.
기타 적합한 PFPE 물질로는 다이킨 인더스트리사(Daikin Industries Ltd.)에 의해 뎀남(Demnam)이라는 상품명으로 시판중인 제품, 예를 들면 뎀남 S-20(평균 분자량 2500), 뎀남 S-65(평균 분자량 4500), 뎀남 S-100(평균 분자량 5600), 뎀남 S-200(평균 분자량 8400)이 있다.
주쇄 단량체의 혼합물이 사용되는 경우에는 서로 다른 종류의 단량체가 PFPE쇄를 따라 임의적으로 분포되는 것이 바람직하다.
본 발명의 모발 처리 조성물 중 PFPE 물질의 함량은 조성물의 0.00001∼0.01중량%, 바람직하게는 0.0001∼0.008중량, 보다 바람직하게는 0.0001∼0.005중량%이다
0.00001중량% 이하로 PFPE를 조성물에 사용하면 콘디쇼닝 이점이 인식할만한 수준으로 개선되지 않으며, PEPE의 사용량의 0.01% 보다 많은 경우에는 비용면에서 불리하고 이러한 점은 제조시에 문제점으로 대두되며, 또한 모발에 기름기가 흐르거나 산뜻하지 못하게 된다. 또한 퍼블루오로폴리에테르를 고함량으로 사용하는 경우 일반적으로 현탁제에 대한 필요성이 생기게 된다.
기타 성분
본 발명의 바람직한 모발 처리 조성물은 1종 이상의 계면활성제 물질 및(또는) 1종 이상의 콘디쇼닝제를 함유한다.
본 발명에 따른 샴푸 조성물은 음이온, 비이온, 양쪽성 또는 양이온성 계면활성제 또는 이들의 혼합물로부터 선택되는 1종 이상의 계면활성제 물질을 함유하는 것이 바람직하다.
모발 콘디쇼닝 조성물은 1종 이상의 양이온성 계면활성제를 함유하는 것이 바람직하다. 양이온성 계면활성제 성분은 모발에 콘디쇼닝 이점을 제공할 수 있으므로 양이온성 계면활성제를 사용하는 것이 특히 바람직하다.
적합한 음이온성 계면활성제로는 알킬 황산염, 알킬 에테르 황산염, 알카릴 술폰산염, 알킬 숙신산염, 알킬술포숙신산염, N-알코일 사르코신산염, 알킬 인산염, 알킬 에테르 인산염, 알틸 에테르 카르복실산염, 알파-올레핀 술폰산염, 특히 이들의 나트륨, 마크네숨, 암모늄, 모노-, 디-, 및 트리-에탄올아민염이 있다. 여기서 알킬기는 일반적으로 C8∼C18불포화 알킬기이다. 알킬 에테르 황산염, 알킬에테르 인산염 및 알킬에테르 카르복실산염은 분자당 1∼10개의 에틸렌옥사이드 또는 프로필렌옥사이드 단위를 함유하며, 분자당 2∼3개의 에틸렌옥사이드를 함유하는 것이 바람직하다.
적합한 음이온성 계면활성제의 예를 들면 올레일 숙신산 나트륨, 라우릴 술포숙신산 암모늄, 라우릴 황산암모늄, 도데실벤젠 술폰산 나트륨, 도데실벤젠 술폰산 트리에탄올아민 및 N-라우릴 사르코신산 나트륨 등이 있다. 가장 바람직한 음이온성 계면활성제는 라우릴 황산 나트륨, 라우릴 황산 트리에탄올아민, 모노라우릴 인산 트리에탄올아민, 라우릴 에테르 황산나트륨 1EO, 2EO 및 3EO 라우릴 황산암모늄 및 라우릴 에테르 황산 암모늄 1EO, 2EO 및 3이다.
본 발명이 조성물에 사용하기에 적합한 비이온성 계면활성제는 지방족(C8∼C18) 1차 또는 2차 직선형 또는 분지쇄 알콘 또는 페놀과 알킬렌 옥사이드(보통 에티렌 옥사이드, 일반적으로 6-30EO)의 축합 생성물이다.
기타 바람직한 비이온성 계면활성제는 모노-, 또는 디-알킬 알칸올아미드 또는 알킬폴리글리코시드이다. 그 예를들면 코코 모노- 또는 디-에탄올아미드, 코코 모노-이소프로판올아미드, 및 코코 디-글루코시드가 있다.
본 발명의 조성물에 사용하기에 적합한 양쪽성 계면활성제는 알킬 아미 옥사이드, 알킬 베타인, 알킬 아미도프로틸 베타인, 알킬 술로베타인, 알킬 글리시네이트, 알킬 카르복시 글리시네이트, 알킬 암포프로피오네이트, 알킬 아미도프로필 히드록시술타인, 아실 타우레이트 및 아실 글루타메이트 등으로, 여기서 알킬기 및 아실기는 C8∼C18인 기이다. 그 예를들면 라우릴 아민 옥사이드, 코코디메틸 술포프로필 베타인 및 보다 바람직하게는 라우릴 베타인, 코카미도프로필 베타인 및 코캄포프로피온산 나트륨 등이 있다.
양이온성 계면활성제의 예를들면 세틸 트리메틸암모늄 클로라이드, 스테아릴디메틸 벤질 암모늄 클로라이드, 세틸피리디늄 클로라이드, 쿼터늄-5, -31, -18 및 이들의 혼합물이 있다.
본 발명의 샴푸 조성물 중 계면활성제 물질의 함량은 1중량% 이상, 바람직하게는 2∼35중량%, 보다 바람직하게는 5∼30중량%이다. 본 발명의 모발 콘디쇼닝 제품 중 양이온성 계면활성제의 양은 조성물의 0.01∼10중량%, 바람직하게는 0.05∼5중량%, 보다 바람직하게는 0.1∼2중량%이다.
본 발명의 모발 처리 조성물이 퍼블루오로폴리에테르 물질 및 양이온성 계면활성제 외에도 추가적인 콘디쇼닝제를 함유하는 경우, 이러한 물질은 양이온 중합체, 휘발성 및 비휘발성 실리콘, 단백질 가수분해물 또는 제4급 단백질 가수분해로부터 선택되는 것이 바람직하다.
적합한 양이온 중합체로는 구아 히드록시프로필트리모늄 클로라이드, 쿼터늄 -19, -23, -40, -57, 폴리(디메틸디알릴암모늄 클로라이드), 폴리(디메틸 부테닐 암모늄 클로라이드)-ω-비스(트리에탄올암모늄 클로라이드), 폴리(디프로필디알릴암모늄 클로라이드), 폴리(메틸-베타-프로파니오디알릴암모늄 클로라이드), 폴리(디알릴피페리디늄 클로라이드), 폴리(비닐 피리디늄 클로라이드), 제4급 폴리(비닐 알콜), 제4급 폴리(디메틸아미노에틸메타크릴레이트) 및 이들의 혼합물이 있다.
적합한 휘발성 실리콘 물질의 예를들면 다우 코닝(Dow Cornign) DC 345로서 구입 가능한 시클로메티콘 및 유니온 카바이드사로부터 구입 가능한 볼라타일 실리콘 7158이 있다.
적합한 단백질 유도체로는 라메쿼트(LAMEQUAT) L이라는 상품명으로 구입가능한 라우릴 디모늄 히드록시 프로필아미노 가수분해 동물성 단백질, 및 크로쿼트(CROQUAT) WKP라는 상품명으로 구입 가능한 황-함유 아미노산을 함유하는 가수분해 케라틴이 있다.
본 발명의 샴푸 또는 콘디쇼닝 조성물에 사용하기에 특히 적합한 콘디쇼닝제는 휘발성 및 비휘발성 실리콘유, 예를들면 폴리알킬실록산, 폴리알킬아릴 실록산, 실리콘 고무, 시클로메티콘 및 아미노 작용성 실리콘이다. 이러한 실리콘 물질은 작은 입자(입자 크기가 0.1∼1㎛인 것이 바람직함)로서 샴푸 또는 콘디쇼닝 조성물에 혼입되는 것이 바람직하다.
본 발명의 조성물 중 퍼블루오로폴리에테르 및 양이온성 계면활성제의 이외의 콘디쇼닝제의 바람직한 사용량은 0∼20중량%, 예를들면 0.01∼10중량% 또는 0.1∼5중량%이다.
본 발명의 조성물에 유리하게 혼입될 수 있는 또다른 성분은 지방 알콜 물질이다. 이러한 물질의 사용은 본 발명의 콘디쇼닝 조성물, 특히 1종 이상의 양이온성 계면활성제 물질을 함유하는 콘디쇼닝 조성물에 특히 적합하다. 콘디쇼닝 조성물에 지방 알콜 물질과 양이온성 계면활성제를 조합하여 사용하면 양이온성 계면활성제가 분산되는 라멜라상을 형성하게 되므로 특히 유리하다.
바람직한 지방 알콜은 8∼22, 보다 바람직하게는 16∼20개의 탄소원자를 갖는다. 바람직한 지방 알콜의 예로는 세틸 알콜 및 스테아릴 알콜이 있다. 이러한 물질을 사용하면 본 발명의 조성물의 전반적인 콘디쇼닝 특성에 기여한다는 면에서도 또한 바람직하다.
지방 알콜의 양은 조성물의 0∼10중량%, 바람직하게는 0.1∼5중량%이다. 양이온성 계면활성제 대 지방알콜의 중량비는 10:1∼1:10, 바람직하게는 4:1∼1:8, 보다 바람직하게는 1:1∼1:4이다.
미량 성분
본 발명의 모발 처리 조성물은 또한 모발 처리 조성물에 통상 첨가되는 미량의 기타 성분, 예를들면 살균제, 피리딘에티온 아연 또는 옥토피록스와 같은 비듬방지제, 거품 촉진제, 진주광택제, 향료, 염료, 착색제, 방부제, 점도 조절제, 단백질, 중합체, 완충제, 폴리올 및 기타 보습제, 허브 추출물, 밍크유 또는 벌꿀 등을 함유할 수 있다.

본 발명의 조성물은 20∼99.5%중량%, 바람직하게는 60∼98중량%, 보다 바람직하게는 80∼96중량%의 물을 함유한다.
조성물의 용도
제조후, 본 발명의 모발 처리 조성물을 바람직하게 포장한다. 이러한 목적을 위해 어떠하 적합한 용기도 사용될 수 있으나, 일반적으로 본 발명의 조성물은 병, 주머니(sachets) 등과 같은 밀폐용기내에 포장된다.
본 발명의 모발 처리 조성물은 일반적으로 1∼50㎖의 양으로 사용된다. 샴푸시에 바람직한 사용량은 젖은 모발에 대해 3∼5㎖이다. 샴푸를 젖은 모발에 바른 후 비벼서 거품이 생기게 한다. 이 거품은 헹구기전 단시간 동안, 예를들면 1∼4분 동안 모발에 남아있도록 할 수도 있고, 즉시 헹굴 수도 있다. 필요하다면 상기처리 과정을 반복할 수도 있다. 콘디쇼닝 제품의 바람직한 양은 8∼20㎖이다. 모발을 세정 또는 린스한 후 모발에 바른 다음 젖은 모발을 비비고 나서 헹구어 낸다.
본 발명의 모발 처리 조성물의 제조시 통상적인 가열 또는 냉각 혼합 공정을 사용하는 것이 바람직하다. 조성물에 PFPE 성분을 첨가하는 바람직한 방법은 농후량의 전해질과 함께 소량의 계면활성제와 PFPE의 예비분산물을 형성하거나, 또는 중합체 성분과 PFPE의 예비분산물을 형성하거나, 또는 글리세롤과 함께 저함량의 계면활성제와 PFPE의 예비분산물을 형성하는 것이다. 이러한 예비분산물은 최종 모발 처리 조성물의 제조에 사용된다.
이제 본 발명은 다음의 실시예를 통해 보다 상세히 설명될 것이다.
[실시예 1]
다음과 같은 조성을 갖는 콘디쇼닝 조성물을 제조하였다. 우선 물을 80℃로 가열하였다. 먼저 5가지 성분을 교반하에 가하였다. 이 혼합물을 교반하여 40℃로 냉각시켰다. 그 다음 방부제, 향료 및 착색제를 가하였다. 이 혼합물을 냉각시켰다.

[실시예 2]
다음과 같은 조성을 갖는 샴푸를 단순 냉각 공정에 의해 제조하였다. 모든 성분들 패들 교반기를 사용하여 혼합하였다.
1) 뎀남 S-20, S-65, S-100, S-200 또는 폼브린 HC/04, 폼브린 HC/25 또는 폼브린 HC/R
폼브린 HC/04를 함유하는 조성물에 대해서 모발에 대한 시험관내 테스트를 행하였다. 8g의 모발을 적신 다음 이 모발에 0.5㎖의 샴푸를 사용하여 30초간 거품을 일으킨 다음 20초 동안 방치한 후 물로 헹구었다. 0.4g의 샴푸를 사용하여 상기 과정을 반복한 다음 모발을 건조시켰다. 비교 목적으로 PFPE를 함유하지 않은 조성물로 모발을 처리하였다.
처리된 모발은 12명의 훈련된 평가자들에 의해 쌍을 이룬 비교테스트 형식으로 평가되었다.
이 결과는 통계학적으로 0.01 및 0.05 신뢰 수준에서 해석된다. 부드러움은 촉감에 의해 평가되었다. 모발의 윤기에 대해서는 모발 수위치를 스포트라이트하에 곡면상에 올려 놓아 가장 밝은 부분이 생기게 하여 조사한 다음 그것의 빛의 강도를 육안으로 평가하였다.
본 발명에 따른 조성물로 처리된 모발은 현저하게 좋은 콘디숀을 가졌으며, 특히 건조시의 빗질 및 모발의 윤기면에서 우수하였다. 앞서 제시한 바와 같은 다른 PFPE 물질을 사용하는 경우에도 같은 결과를 얻을 수 있다.
[실시예 3]
다음과 같은 조성물을 갖는 조성물을 실시예 3에서와 같은 방법으로 제조하였다.
1) 뎀남 S-20, S-65, S-100 또는 S-200, 폼브린 HC/04, 폼브린 HC/25 또는 폼브린 HC/R
폼브린 HC/R을 함유하는 조성물에 대해서 모발에 대한 시험관내 테스트를 행하였다. 그 방법은 실시예 2에서 설명한 바와 같다. 비교 목적으로 PFPE를 함유하지 않은 상기 조성물로 모발을 처리하였다. 본 발명의 조성물로 처리된 모발은 현저하게 좋은 콘디숀을 가졌으며, 특히 건조시 빗질 및 모발의 유기면에서 우수하였다. 앞서 제시한 바와 같은 다른 PFPE 물질을 사용하는 경우에도 같은 결과를 얻을 수 있다.

다음과 같은 조성을 갖는 샴푸 조성물을 실시예 2에서와 같은 방법으로 제조하였다.

Claims (5)

  1. 퍼플루오로폴리에테르 물질 0.00001∼0.008중량% 및 계면활성제 2∼35중량%를 모발 처리 조성물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 퍼플루오로폴리에테르 물질이 다음과 같은 식의 것임을 특징으로 하는 모발 처리 조성물.
    F-(CyF2yO)N-CzF(z+1)
    이 식에서 z는 1∼6 사이이 정수이고, y는 각 단량체에 대해 1∼6 사이의 정수로부터 독립적으로 선택되며, n은 중합체 주쇄의 단량체 단위의 총수를 나타내는 것으로서 1 이상의 수이다.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, n은 퍼플루오로폴리에테르의 분자량이 100∼100,000이 되도록 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 모발 처리 조성물.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 퍼플루오로폴리에테르가 다음과 같은 식의 것임을 특징으로 하는 모발 처리 조성물.
