Claims (6)

  1. 케이블 분배망을 통해 비디오 및 쌍방향 전화 서비스를 제공하는 통신 시스템에 있어서, 복수의 비디오 신호 및 제1복수의 전화 채널을 상기 케이블 분배망에 결합하고, 상기 케이블 분배망으로부터 제2복수의 전화 채널을 추출하여, 복수의 쌍방향 전화 채널을 상기 복수의 비디오 신호와 통합하는 콤바이너(combiner); 상기 통합된 복수의 쌍방향 전화 채널로부터 미리 선정하여 선택된 적어도 하나의 쌍방향 전화 신호전송 채널을 제공하는 액세스 관리자(access manager); 및 상기 액세스 관리자에 결합되며, 전화 호출 서비스에 대한 요청에 응답하여 사용자에게 전화 호출 기간 동안 상기 통합된 복수의 쌍방향 전화 채널 중 적어도 하나를 할당하기 위한 포트 제어 유닛을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 케이블 분배망을 통한 비디오 및 쌍방향 전화 서비스 제공 통신 시스템.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 복수의 원격 사이트(remote sites) 중 하나에서 상기 케이블 분배망으로부터 상기 비디오 신호 및 상기 복수의 쌍방향 전화 채널을 분리하는 스플리터(splitter)를 더 포함하며, 이 스플리터에 의해서 상기 비디오 서비스들은 사용자에게 공급된 상기 쌍방향 전화 서비스들로부터 분리되어 사용자에게 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 케이블 분배망을 통한 비디오 및 쌍방향 전화 서비스 제공 통신 시스템.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 포트 제어 유닛으로부터 결합된 전화 메시지를 상기 제1복수의 전화 채널에 관련된 무선 주파수 신호로 변조하며, 상기 제2복수의 전화 채널에 관련된 무선 주파수 신호로부터 수신되어 상기 콤바이너로부터 결합된 전화 메시지를 복조하는 케이블 포트를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 케이블 분배망을 통한 비디오 및 쌍방향 전화 서비스 제공 통신 시스템.
  4. 케이블 분배망을 통해 비디오 및 쌍방향 전화 서비스를 제공하는 방법에 있어서, 복수의 비디오 신호 및 제1복수의 전화 채널을 상기 케이블 분배망에 결합하고, 상기 케이블 분배망으로부터 제2복수의 전화 채널을 추출하여, 복수의 쌍방향 전화 채널을 상기 복수의 비디오 신호와 통합하는 단계; 상기 통합된 복수의 쌍방향 전화 채널로부터 미리 선정하여 선택된 적어도 하나의 쌍방향 전화 신호전송 채널을 제공하여 전화 채널 제어를 실행시키는 단계; 및 전화 호출 서비스에 대한 상기 사용자의 요청에 응답하여 전화 호출 기간 동안 상기 통합된 복수의 쌍방향 전화 채널 중 적어도 하나를 할당하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 케이블 분배망을 통한 비디오 및 쌍방향 전화 서비스 제공 방법.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 복수의 원격 사이트 중 하나에서 상기 케이블 분배망으로부터 상기 비디오 신호 및 상기 복수의 쌍방향 전화 채널을 분리하는 단계를 더 포함하며, 이 분리에 의해서 상기 비디오 서비스들은 사용자에게 공급된 상기 쌍방향 전화 서비스들로부터 분리되어 사용자에게 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 케이블 분배망을 통한 비디오 및 쌍방향 전화 서비스 제공 방법.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, 포트 제어 유닛으로부터 결합된 전화 메시지를 상기 제1복수의 전화 채널에 관련된 무선 주파수 신호로 변조하며, 상기 제2복수의 전화 채널에 관련된 무선 주파수 신호로부터 수신되어 상기 콤바이너로부터 결합된 전화 메시지를 복조하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 케이블 분배망을 통한 비디오 및 쌍방향 전화 서비스 제공 방법.
