Abstract

전화선(105)을 통해 통신하는 원격지 회의자 및 다수의 유선 또는 무선 핸드셋 사용자 사이의 회의 통화를 비용 효과적으로 수행하는 통신 시스템 및 방법이 개시되어 있다. 핸드셋 사용자로부터의 착신하는 압축된 신호 각각은 서로 가산되기전에, 감압 및 감쇠된다. 그후 합산된 신호는 디지탈-아날로그 변환기를 통해서 전화선을 거쳐 원격지 회의자에게 전송된다. 합산된 신호는 또한 원격지 회의자로 부터 전송되는 착신 신호상에서의 아날로그-디지탈 변환기의 동작으로부터 초래되는 출력에 가산되고, 총체적인 합신호는 압축되어 핸드셋 사용자 각각에게 전송된다.

Claims (12)

  1. 원격지 회의자와의 회의 통호를 수행하는 복수명의 관여하는 통신 시스템 사용자 각각에게 착신 신호를 제공하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 관여하는 통신 시스템 사용자에 의해 제공되는 복수개의 압축된 입력 신호를 감압하는 단계, 상기 감압된 신호 각각을 감쇠시키는 단계, 상기 복수개의 감쇠된 신호를 가산하는 단계, 원격지 회의자로부터의 신호에 상기 감쇠된 신호의 합을 가산하는 단계, 압축된 합 신호를 형성하도록 상기 원격지 회의자로부터의 신호와 상기 감쇠된 신호의 합을 압축시키는 단계, 및 상기 압축된 합 신호를 상기 관여하는 통신 시스템 각각에게 전송시키는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 통신 시스템은 무선 시스템인 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 감압된 신호의 합을 감쇠시키는데 사용되는 감쇠 인자는 상기 관여하는 통신 시스템 사용자 수의 역수에 비례하는 방법.
  4. 원격지 회의자와의 회의 통화를 수행하는 복수명의 관여하는 사용자 각각에게 착신 신호를 제공하는 통신 시스템에 있어서, 상기 관여하는 통신 시스템 사용자에 의해 제공되는 복수개의 압축된 입력 신호를 감압하는 수단, 상기 감압된 신호 각각을 감쇠시키는 감쇠 수단, 상기 감쇠된 신호를 합산하는 가산 수단, 원격지 회의자로부터의 신호에 상기 합산된 감쇠 신호를 가산하는 수단, 압축된 합 신호를 형성하도록 상기 원격지 회의자로부터의 신호와 상기 감쇠된 신호의 합을 압축시키는 데이타 압축 수단, 및 상기 압축된 합 신호를 상기 관여하는 통신 시스템 사용자 각각에게 전송하는 전송 수단을 포함하는 통신 시스템.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 통신 시스템은 무선 시스템인 통신 시스템.
  6. 복수명의 관여하는 통신 시스템 사용자 각각에게 제1착신 신호를, 그리고 상기 관여하는 사용자와의 회의 통화시 전화선을 통해 상기 관여하는 사용자와 통신하는 원격지 회의자에게 제2착신 신호를 제공하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 관여하는 통신 시스템 사용자에 의해 제공되는 복수개의 압축된 입력 신호를 감압하는 단계, 상기 감압된 신호 각각을 감쇠시키는 단계, 상기 복수개의 감쇠된 신호를 가산하는 단계, 상기 전화선을 거쳐 상기 감쇠된 신호의 합을 원격지 회의자에게 전송하는 단계, 상기 감쇠된 신호의 합을 상기 원격지 회의자로부터의 신호에 가산시키는 단계, 압축된 합 신호를 형성하도록 상기 원격지 회의자로부터의 신호 및 상기 감쇠된 신호의 합을 압축하는 단계, 및 상기 관여하는 통신 시스템 사용자 각각에게 상기 압축된 합 신호를 전송시키는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 통신 시스템은 무선 시스템인 방법.
  8. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 감압된 신호의 합을 감쇠시키는 데 사용되는 감쇠 인자는 상기 관여하는 통신 시스템 사용자 수의 역수에 비례하는 방법.
  9. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 전화선을 통해 상기 감쇠된 신호의 합을 상기 원격지 회의자에게 전송하기 전에 상기 감쇠된 신호의 합을 아날로그 신호로 변환시키도록 디지탈-아날로그 변환기를 사용하는 단계를 부가적으로 포함하는 방법.
  10. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 원격지 회의자로부터의 신호에 상기 감쇠된 신호의 합을 가산시키기 전에 상기 원격지 회의자로부터의 신호를 디지탈 신호로 변환시키도록 아날로그-디지탈 변환기를 사용하는 단계를 부가적으로 포함하는 방법.
  11. 복수명의 관여하는 통신 시스템 사용자 각각에게 제1착신 신호를, 그리고 상기 관여하는 사용자와의 회의 통화시 전화선을 통해 상기 관여하는 사용자와 통신하는 원격지 회의자에게 제2착신 신호를 제공하는 통신 시스템에 있어서, 상기 관여하는 통신 시스템 사용자에 의해 제공되는 복수개의 압축된 입력 신호를 감압하는 수단, 상기 감압된 신호 각각을 감쇠시키는 감쇠 수단, 상기 감쇠된 신호를 가산하는 가산 수단, 상기 전화선을 통해 상기 감쇠된 신호의 합을 원격지 회의자에게 전송하는 전송 수단, 상기 원격지 회의자로부터의 신호에 상기 합산된 감쇠 신호를 가산하는 수단, 압축된 합 신호를 형성하도록 상기 원격지 회의자로부터의 신호 및 상기 감쇠된 신호의 합을 압축하는 데이타 압축 수단, 및 상기 관여하는 통신 시스템 사용자 각각에게 상기 압축된 합 신호를 전송하는 전송 수단을 포함하는 통신 시스템.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 상기 통신 시스템은 무선 시스템인 통신 시스템.
