Abstract

레이저 용접을 이용해서 금속띠로부터 용접관을 제조할 때에 레이저 용접전의 금속띠 끝부의 온도가 소정온도 이상이 되도록 금속띠의 끝부를 미리 가열해서 예열한 금속띠의 끝부끼리를 레이저 용접하여 제관하고 제관한 용접관의 외면 및/또는 내면의 용접비이드를 절삭에 의해 제거한다. 이 소정온도는 금속띠의 두께 및 레이저 용접으로부터 용접 비이드 절삭까지의 시간에 대응해서 결정한다. 제조한 용접관의 용접비이드를 절삭할 수 있도록 용접전의 금속띠 끝부를 예열해 두고, 레이저 용접후의 용접부의 급냉에 따르는 용접비이드의 경화를 방지한다.

제4도는 본 발명의 레이저 용접관의 제조방법의 제1테스트 결과를 표시하는 도표.

Claims (7)

  1. 금속띠의 끝부끼리를 레이저 용접해서 용접관을 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 레이저 용접전의 상기한 금속띠의 끝부의 온도가 소정온도 이상이 되도록, 상기한 금속띠의 끝부를 미리 가열하는 스텝과, 예열된 금속띠의 끝부끼리를 레이저 용접해서 제관하는 스텝과, 제조한 용접관의 외면 및/또는 내면의 용접비이드를 절삭에 의해 제거하는 스텝을 보유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이저 용접관의 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 소정온도는 상기한 금속띠의 두께 및 레이저 용접으로부터 용접비이드 절삭까지의 시간에 대응해서 결정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이저 용접관의 제조방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기한 소정온도는 이하의 조건을 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이저 용접관의 제조방법.
    T≥380×exp(8.4×t×a1.3)
    단, T : 상기한 소정온도(℃), t : 레이저 용접으로부터 용접비이드 절삭까지의 시간(분), a : 상기한 금속띠의 두께(㎜).
  4. 레이저 용접을 사용해서 금속띠로부터 용접관을 제조하는 장치에 있어서, 상기한 금속띠의 끝부를 예열하는 예열수단과, 예열된 금속띠의 끝부끼리를 레이저 용접해서 용접관을 형성하는 레이저 용접수단과, 형성한 용접관의 용접비이드를 절삭제거하는 절산수단을 구비하고, 상기한 절산수단의 절삭공구가 용접관의 길이방향으로 이동 자재한 것을 특징으로 하는 레이저 용접관의 제조장치.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기한 예열수단의 예열파워를 조정하는 조정수단을 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 레이저 용접관의 제조장치.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, 상기한 금속띠를 반송하는 반송수단과 상기한 금속띠의 반송속도를 가변으로 하기 위해 상기한 반송수단을 조정하는 조정수단을 다시 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 레이저 용접관의 제조장치.
  7. 제4항에 있어서, 상기한 예열수단은 고주파 전류를 사용하는 가열수단인 것을 특징으로 하는 레이저 용접관의 제조장치.
