Abstract

고온용융 접착제와 같은 압출가능한 재료가 기판에 인가되며 동시에 레이저 빔에 의해 조사(照射)된다. 레이저의 에너지는 접착제와 기판에 의해 흡수되어 접착제가 구조체 내로 퍼지게 된다. 두 개의 기판 시트 사이의 갭에 인가될 때, 압출가능한 재료는 매우 튼튼한 접합을 이루게 한다. 기판 재료중 하나가 다공성인 경우, 압출가능한 재료는 기판의 두께를 침투하여 하부의 층과 접촉해서 접합을 이룬다. 압출가능한 재료는 노즐을 통해 인가되며, 레이저 빔은 노즐을 통하여 압출가능한 재료의 유동통로와 동축이 되게 전달된다. 동축으로 설치하면 복잡한 패턴에서 노즐과 빔의 움직임이 용이해져서 압출가능한 재료와 레이저 빔을 동시적으로 인가하는 것이 보장된다.

Claims (21)

  1. 가열 활성화되는 중합체 합성물을 기판에 인가하는 방법으로써, 액체상태의 상기 합성물을 상기 기판에 전해주기 위한 유동통로에 상기 합성물을 제공하고 동시에 상기 유동통로내의 상기 합성물을 에너지 빔으로 조사(照射)하며, 여기서 상기 에너지 빔은 상기 유동통로와 사실상 같은 모양이고 상기 유동통로내의 상기 합성물로 향하여서, 상기 빔의 에너지를 상기 합성물과 기판에 전달하여 상기 합성물이 인가되는 기판을 가열시켜주는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 합성물이 압출가능한 매체인 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 에너지 빔이 레이저인 방법.
  4. 가열 활성화되는 중합체 합성물을 기판에 인가하는 장치에 있어서, 액체상태의 상기 합성물을 수용하기 위한 유동통로를 형성하고 상기 합성물을 상기 유동통로를 따라 상기 기판으로 전해주는 수단을 구비하며, 에너지 빔을 상기 유동통로와 사실상 같은 모양으로 만들고 상기 에너지 빔을 상기 유동통로내의 상기 합성물과 상기 기판으로 향하게 하여 상기 유동통로내의 상기 합성물을 조사(照射)하고 상기 빔의 에너지를 상기 합성물에 전달하며 상기 합성물이 상기 기판에 인가됨에 따라 상기 에너지 빔으로 상기 기판을 조사해 주는 수단을 구비하는 장치.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 유동통로를 형성하는 수단이 노즐을 구비하는 장치.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 노즐이 상기 합성물을 상기유동통로에 횡단하는 방향으로 공급하기 위한 수단과, 상기 유동통로와 정렬되어 상기 에너지 빔을 상기 유동통로내로 전달하기 위한 광학 윈도우를 구비하는 장치.
  7. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 유동통로는 테이퍼져 있으며, 상기 에너지 빔을 상기 유동통로를 따라 수렴시키는 수단을 더 구비하는 장치.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 수렴수단은 상기 유동통로와 정렬된 광학 윈도우를 구비하는 장치.
  9. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 노즐을 제거가능하게 지지하는 수단을 더 구비하는 장치.
  10. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 노즐에 인접하여 상기 합성물을 사실상 액체상태로 상기 유동통로에 공급하기 위한 수단을 더 구비하는 장치.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 합성물은 고온용융 접착제이며 상기 에너지 빔은 레이저 빔인 장치.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 상기 공급수단이 상기 합성물을 용융시키기 위한 히터와 상기 용융된 합성물을 상기 노즐수단에 제공하기 위한 펌프를 구비하는 장치.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 상기 저장통, 히터 및 펌프가 상기 노즐에 근접하여 있는 장치.
  14. 제13항에 있어서, 선정된 패턴에 따라서 상기 노즐에 대해 상기 기판을 이동시키는 수단을 더 구비하는 장치.
  15. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 유동통로를 형성하는 수단은 상기 에너지 빔을 상기 유동통로로 전달하기 위한 광학 윈도우를 구비하는 장치.
