Abstract
The present invention relates to an ink-jet recording head comprising a liquid-permeable surface layer and an ink-holding layer, wherein the volume of the pore corresponding to the peak of 100 nm or less of the pore diameter distribution curve is 0.015 cc / g or less, The volume of the surface layer is not less than 0.015 cc / g, and the pH of the surface layer is not less than 8.
