Abstract
본 발명은 양자화된 DCT 계수의 스캐닝 방법을 변경하므로서 송신되는 영상 신호의 비트 수를 감축한 영상 신호 부호화 장치에 관한 것으로서, 2차원 DCT 방식에 의하여 변환된 DCT 계수들을 양자화하는 양자화부와; 양자화부에 연속적으로 인가되는 양자화된 블럭내 각각의 좌표에 위치하는 DCT 계수들을 각각 탐색하여 그 각각의 좌표내에 위치하는 DCT계수들 중 0 이 아닌 DCT 계수가 발생한 횟수를 각각 누적하는 도수 분포화부와; 도수 분포화부에 누적된 블럭내 좌표들 각각에 대한 횟수들을 비교하여 그 순서를 알리는 비교부와; 양자화부의 블럭내 좌표에 위치하는 양자화된 DCT값을 비교부로부터 인가된 순서에 따라 일차원으로 재 배치하는 위치 변환부와; 위치 변환부로부터 인가되는 양자회된 DCT 계수들을 부호화하는 부호화부를 구비한다.
즉, 본 발명은 양자화된 DCT계수들을 0이 아닌 값이 나올 확율이 높은 값부터 순차적으로 부호화할 수 있게 하므로써 송신되는 영상 신호를 비트 수를 감축할수 있다는 효과가 있다.

제2도는 본 발명에 따른 영상 신호 부호화 장치의 블럭도, 제3도는 본 발명에 따른 영상 신호 부호화 장치에서 블럭의 일 상태를 표시한 도면, 제4도는 본 발명에 따른 영상 신호 부호화 장치에서 제3도의 블럭 내 0이 아닌 DCT 계수의 발생 순서를 도시한 도면.
Claims (1)
- 소정 블럭 단위의 영상 신호를 움직임 보상 DCPM(차분 펄스 부호 변조) 및 2차원 DCT(이산 코사인 변환) 방식을 이용하여 압축 전송하는 하이브리드 영상 압축 장치에 있어서, 상기 2차원 DCT방식에 의하여 변환된 DCT 계수들을 양자화화는 양자화부와; 상기 양자화부에서 연속적으로 인가되는 양자화된 블럭내 각각의 좌표에 위치하는 DCT계수들을 각각 탐색하여 그 각각의 좌표내에 위치하는 DCT계수들중 0이아닌 DCT 계수가 발생한 한 횟수를 각각 누적하는 도수 분포화부와; 상기 도수 분포화부에 누적된 상기 블럭내 좌표들 각각에 대한 횟수들을 비교하여 그 순서를 알리는 비교부와; 상기 양자화부의블럭내 좌표에 위치하는 양자화된 DCT 값을 상기 비교부로부터 인가된 순서에 따라 일차원적으로 재 배치하는 위치 변환부와; 상기 위치 변환부로부터 인가되는 양자화된 DCT 계수들을 부호화하는 부호화부를 구비하는 영상 신호 부호화 장치.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
