하기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 헥신디엔 유도체와 이를 함유하는 액정 조성물이 기재되어 있다:
상기 식에서, R1및 R2는 각각 독립적으로 탄소수 1 내지 10의 알킬 그룹 또는 알콕시 그룹을 나타내고, 환 A 및 환 B는 독립적으로 1,4-사이클로헥실렌 또는 1,4-페닐렌을 나타낸다.

Claims (12)

  1. 하기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 헥신디엔 유도체.
    상기 식에서, R1및 R2는 각각 독립적으로 탄소수 1 내지 10의 알킬 그룹 또는 알콕시 그룹을 나타내고, 환 A 및 환 B는 독립적으로 1,4-사이클로헥실렌 또는 1,4-페닐렌을 나타낸다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 환 A가 1,4-페닐렌인 헥신디엔 유도체.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 환 A가 1,4-사이클로헥실렌인 헥신디엔 유도체.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 환 B가 1,4-페닐렌 헥신디엔 유도체.
  5. 제3항에 있어서, 환 B가 1,4-사이클로헥실렌인 헥신디엔 유도체.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, R1과 R2가 각각 탄소수 1 내지 10의 알킬 그룹인 헥신디엔 유도체.
  7. 제5항에 있어서, R1이 탄소수 1 내지 10의 알콕시 그룹이고 R2가 탄소수 1 내지 10의 알킬 그룹인 헥신디엔 유도체.
  8. 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 따르는 하나 이상의 액정 화합물을 함유하는 액정 조성물.
  9. 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 따르는 하나 이상의 화합물을 제1성분으로서 함유하고, 하기 일반식(Ⅱ),(Ⅲ) 또는 (Ⅳ)의 화합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 화합물을 제2성분으로서 함유하는 액정 조성물.
    상기 식에서, R3는 탄소수 1 내지 10의 알킬 그룹을 나타내고, Y는 불소원자 또는 염소원자를 나타내며, Q1및 Q2는 각각 독립적으로 수소원자 또는 불소원자를 나타내고, n은 1 또는 2를 나타내며, Z1및 Z2는 독립적으로 -CH2CH2- 또는 공유결합을 나타낸다.
  10. 제1항 내지 제7항 중의 어느 한 항에 따르는 하나 이상의 화합물을 제1성분으로서 함유하고, 하기 일반식 (Ⅴ),(Ⅵ),(Ⅶ),(Ⅷ) 또는 (Ⅸ)의 화합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 화합물을 제2성분으로서 함유하는 액정 조성물.
    상기 식에서, R4, R7및 R8은 각각 독립적으로 탄소수 1 내지 10의 알킬 그룹 또는 탄소수 2 내지 10의 알케닐 그룹을 나타내고, 두 경우 모두 메틸렌 그룹(-CH2-)이 산소원자(-O-)에 의해 치환될 수 있지만, 두 경우 모두 2개 이상의 메틸렌 그룹이 산소원자에 의해 연속적으로 치환될 수 없으며, Z3및 Z6은 각각 독립적으로 -CH2CH2-, -COO-또는 공유결합을 나타내고, Q3,Q4,Q5,Q6및 Q7은 각각 독립적으로 수소원자 또는 불소원자를 나타내며, 환 C는 1,4-사이클로헥실렌, 1,4-페닐렌 또는 1,3-디옥산-2,5-디일을 나타내고, m,k 및 h는 각각 독립적으로 0 또는 1을 나타내며, R5및 R6은 각각 독립적으로 탄소수 1 내지 10의 알킬 그룹을 나타내고, 환 D, 환 F, 환 I 및 환 J는 각각 독립적으로 1,4-사이클로헥실렌 또는 1,4-페닐렌을 나타내며, Z4는 -COO-또는 공유결합을 나타내고, 환 E는 1,4-사이클로헥실렌, 1,3-피리미딘-2,5-디일 또는 1,4-페닐렌을 나타내며, Z5는 -C≡C-, -COO-, -CH2CH2- 또는 공유결합을 나타내고, R9는 탄소수 1 내지 10의 알킬 그룹 또는 알콕시 그룹을 나타내며, R10은 탄소수 1 내지 10의 의 알킬 그룹, 알콕시 그룹 또는 알콕시메틸 그룹을 나타내고, 환 G는 1,4-사이클로헥실렌 또는 1,3-피리미딘-2,5-디일을 나타내며, Z7은 -C≡C-, -COO- 또는 공유결합을 나타낸다.
  11. 제1항 내지 제7항 중의 어느 한 항에 따르는 하나 이상의 화합물을 제1성분으로서 함유하고 일반식(Ⅱ),(Ⅲ) 또는 (Ⅳ)의 화합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 화합물을 제2성분의 일부로서 함유하며 일반식(Ⅴ),(Ⅵ),(Ⅶ),(Ⅷ) 또는 (Ⅸ)의 화합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 화합물을 제2성분의 다른 일부로서 함유하는 액정 조성물.
  12. 제8항 내지 제11항 중의 어느 한 항에 따르는 액정 조성물이 사용됨으로써 구성되는 액정 표시장치.
