Abstract

본 발명에 따른 영상 데이타 부호화장치는 프레임 첫부분의 영상 데이타는 바로 이전 프레임의 맨 마지막 부분에서 발생된 데이타량에 근거한 QP를 사용하는 것이 아니라, 바로 이전 프레임의 두번째 슬라이스에서 발생된 데이타에 근거한 QP를 사용함으로서 보다 합리적이고 우수하게 영상 데이타를 압축할 수 있는데, 양자화 스텝사이즈 파라미터(Quantization Step-size Parameter: QP)에 따라서 입력된 영상 데이타 양자화하고, 양자화된 데이타를 부화화(coding)하여 출력하는 부호화부와, 상기 부호화부로 부터 제공되는 데이타를 일시적으로 기록한 후 일정한 비율로 출력하는 버퍼부와, 상기 버퍼부로부터 버퍼 점유도(B)를 검출하고, 상기 버퍼 점유도(B)에 따라서 조절된 양자화 스텝사이즈 파라미터(QP)를 출력하는 데이타 발생량 조절부와, 제1제어신호(C1)에 응답하여, 상기 데이타 발생량 조절부로 부터 제공되는 양자화 스텝사이즈 파라미터(QP)를 기록하고, 제2 제어신호(C2)에 응답하여, 상기 기록된 양자화 스텝사이즈 파라미트(QP)를 출력하고 리셋되는 메모리부와, 상기 부호화부와 동일하게 영상데이타를 입력받으며, 프레임 단위의 영상 데이타 입력 시작을 알리는 스타트 신호에 응답하여, 제2 제어신호(C2)를 출력하고, 현재 입력되는 영상 데이타의 위치가 현재 프레임의 기설정된 위치인 경우 제1제어신호(C1)를 출력하는 제어부와, 상기 데이타 발생량 조절부로 부터 제공된 양자회 스텝사이트 파라미터(QP)를 상기 부호화부로 출력하되, 상기 제2제어신호(C2)가 입력되는 경우는 상기 메모리부로 부터 제공되는 양자화 스텝사이즈 파라미터(QP)를 상기 부호화부로 출력하는 선택부를 포함한다.

Claims (2)

  1. 양자화 스텝사이즈 파라미터(Quantization Step-size Parameter: QP)에 따라서 입력된 영상 데이타 양자화하고, 양자화된 데이타를 부호화(coding)하여 출력하는 부호화부와; 상기 부호화부로 부터 제공되는 데이타를 일시적으로 기록한 후 일정한 비율로 출력하는 버퍼부와; 상기 버퍼부로 부터 버퍼 점유도(B)를 검출하고, 상기 버퍼 점유도(B)에 따라서 조절된 양자화 스텝사이즈 파라미터(QP)를 출력하는 데이타 발생량 조절부와; 제1 제어신호(C1)에 응답하여, 상기 데이타 발생량 조절부로 부터 제공되는 양자화 스텝사이즈 파라미터(QP)를 기록하고, 제2 제어신호(C2)에 응답하여, 상기 기록된 양자화 스텝사이즈 파라미트(QP)를 출력하고 리셋되는 메모리부와; 상기 부호화부와 동일하게 영상 데이타를 입력받으며, 프레임 단위의 영상 데이타 입력 시작을 알리는 스타트 신호에 응답하여, 제2 제어신호(C2)를 출력하고, 현재 입력되는 영상 데이타의 위치가 현재 프레임의 기설정된 위치인 경우 제1제어신호(C1)를 출력하는 제어부와; 상기 데이타 발생량 조절부로 부터 제공된 양자회 스텝사이트 파라미터(QP)를 상기 부호화부로 출력하되, 상기 제2 제어신호(C2)가 입력되는 경우는 상기 메모리부로 부터 제공되는 양자화스텝사이즈 파라미터(QP)를 상기 부호화부로 출력하는 선택부를 포함하는 영상 데이타 부호화장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제어부는 현재 입력되는 영상 데이타가 현재 프레임의 두번째 슬라이스(Slice)에 위치하는 경우 상기 제1 제어신호(C1)를 출력하는 영상 데이타 부호화장치.
