Abstract

본 발명은 화상 데이타를 저장하는 저장수단(4)과, 상기 저장수단(4)을 제어하는 기능을 갖는 제어수단(1)을 구비하는 화상 데이타의 해상도 변환 장치에 적용되는 화상 데이타의 해상도 변환방법에 있어서, 해상도를 변환할 화상 데이타를 해상도 변환 매핑(mapping)하되, 다수의 확장 화소를 갖도록 매핑하는 제1단계: 및 상기 매핑된 화상 데이타 중 각각의 확장화소 주변 다수의 소정 화소를 비교하여 흑과 백으로 상기 확장화소를 각각 판단하는 제2단계(11, 12)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하여, 화상의 품질이 크게 떨어지지 않는 범위내에서 연산처리수와 시간을 감소시킬 수 있는 특유의 효과가 있는 화상 데이타의 해상도 변환방법에 관한 것이다.

Claims (4)

  1. 화상 데이타를 저장하는 저장수단(4)과, 상기 저장수단(4)을 제어하는 기능을 갖는 제어수단(1)을 구비하는 화상 데이타의 해상도 변환장치에 적용되는 화상 데이타의 해상도 변환방법에 있어서, 해상도를 변환할 화상 데이타를 해상도 변환 매핑(mapping)하되, 다수의 확정화소를 갖도록 매핑하는 제1단계: 및 상기 매핑된 화상 데이타 중 각각의 확장화소 주변 다수의 소정 화소를 비교하여 흑과 백으로 상기 확장화소를 각각 판단하는 제2단계(11, 12)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 데이타의 해상도 변환방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2단계 수행후, 상기 제2단계에서 백으로 판단된 확장화소의 상기 제2단계에서 처리된 주변화소를 제외한 주변 다수의 소정 화소를 연산처리하여 흑과 백으로 판단하는 제3단계(13, 14)를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 데이타의 해상도 변환방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2단계에서 다수의 소정 화소는, 상기 확장화소를 기준으로 상ㆍ하 및 좌ㆍ우에 접해 있는 화소인 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 데이타의 해상도 변환방법.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제3단계에서 다수의 소정 화소는, 상기 확장화소를 기준으로 대각선 방향으로 접해 있는 화소인 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 데이타의 해상도 변환방법.
