Abstract

본 발명은 광가입자 구축시 반복적인 접속과 분리가 요구되는 시스템 내부나 가입자 가정내의 망구성을 위한 다심 광커넥터의 결합구조에 관한 것이다.
종래의 다심 광 커넥터는 광학적 특성인 삽입손실을 감소시키기 위해서 초정밀 가공기술을 활용해야 하므로 생산에 제약을 받음과 아울러 광 커넥터의 원가를 상승시키며, 커넥터의 조립시 많은 시간이 소요되어 선로의 접속에 애로점들을 갖고 있었다.
본 발명은 상술한 문제점들을 극복하기 위한 것으로 복수의 광섬유 일단에 일체로 성형된 플러그 기능을 갖는 페룰과, 상기 두페룰의 광섬유를 정렬시켜주는 어댑터 구성하여 초 정밀을 요하는 부품의 수를 줄여 조립시간의 단축은 물론 제품의 단가를 낮출 수 있도록 한 것이다.

제2도 (A), (B)는 양단의 플러그를 정렬시켜 주는 본 발명 어댑터 구조 및 단면도, 제3도는 페룰을 포함한 플러그가 어댑터 내에서 결합되는 페룰결합도, 제4도는 본 발명의 다심 광섬유 접속을 위하여 사용되는 광커넥터의 전체 결합도.

Claims (4)

  1. 광케이블 및 전송기기의 접속과 기기간의 접속에 사용되는 다심 광커넥터에 있어서, 복수의 광섬유 일단에 일체를 성형된 플러그 기능을 갖는 페룰과, 상기 두 페룰의 광섬유를 정렬하여 접속시켜주는 어댑터를 포함하는 다심 광커넥터.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 어댑터는 상기 페룰이 삽입되는 공간을 소정길이의 어댑터 하우징과, 상기 양 페룰을 유도하여 광섬유를 정렬시켜 주는 정렬수단과, 상기 양 페룰의 정렬 상태가 유지되도록 고정시켜 주는 고정 수단으로 구성된 다심 광커넥터.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 정렬수단은 상기 어댑터 하우징의 내부 바닥면에 소정 높이를 갖는 사방형의 정렬기판을 설치하고, 상기 정렬 기판에 의해 유도되도록 상기 페룰 전면 하부에 유도홈을 형성한 다심 광커넥터.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 고정수단은 상기 페룰이 삽입된 상태에서 하부로 가압될 수 있도록 하우징 내부에 하우징의 길이방향으로 설치된 판스프링과, 이 판스프링에 의해 탄성지지되는 압축로드와, 이들을 고정하는 지지대로 구성한 다심 광커넥터.
