Abstract

본 발명은 광통신 부품에 관한 것으로 더욱 구체적으로는 일렬로 배열된 리본형 광케이블의 끝단에 부착되어 낮은 손실로 광신호들을 동시에 전달시키거나 차단시키는 반복적인 접속 및 분리가 요구되는 광선로에서 필수적으로 사용되어야 하는 리본형 광케이블용 다심 광커넥터에 관한 것으로 광케이블은 제조기술의 어려움 및 적절한 망 구성을 위해서는 단락이 존재하며, 이러한 단락은 광로의 유지를 위하여 접속이 이루어져야 하는바, 광섬유의 접속은 손실의 극소화를 위하여 매우 정밀하게 이루어져야 한다.
본 발명은 다심 광케이블의 양측단을 고정 및 정렬하도록 하여 정확한 접속이 이루어지도록 하는 페룰과 상기 페룰의 양측 접속단면이 정확히 일치되도록 하는 정렬블록과 상기 페룰에 탄성력을 작용하는 판스프링을 포함하는 정렬수단과; 상기 정렬수단이 설치되며, 견고하게 결합시켜 주도록 하는 어댑터와 광케이블 보호기구와 플러그를 포함하는 결합수단으로 구성된 것으로서 광커넥터의 핵심 분야인 페룰, 정렬요소 및 결합구조를 신소재, 신구조로 구현함으로써, 경제성, 성능 및 조립성을 향상시켜서 광수동망의 조기 실현으로 광통신 시대의 정착에 기여하기 위한 기본형 광케이블용 다심 광커넥터에 관한 것임.

본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제2도는 본 발명 광커넥터의 일측 광케이블 보호기구를 분리한 상태의 사시도,
제3도는 본 발명의 구체적 형상을 보여주는 단면도로서, (a)는 어댑터의 A-A' 단면이고, (b)는 페룰의 B-B' 단면도임,
제4도는 본 발명 페룰과 플러그의 분리상태 사시도.

Claims (4)

  1. 다심의 광케이블에 의해 광전송기기간의 접속이나 원거리 광케이블간의 결합에 사용되는 다심광커넥터에 있어서, 다심 광케이블(50)의 양측단을 고정 및 정렬하도록 하여 정확한 접속이 이루어지도록 하는 페룰(40)과 상기 페룰(40)의 양측 접속단면이 정확히 일치되도록 하는 정렬블록(12)과 상기 페룰(40)에 탄성력을 작용하는 판스프링(37)을 포함하는 정렬수단과; 상기 정렬수단이 설치되며, 견고하게 결합시켜 주도록 하는 어댑터(10)와 광케이블 보호기구(20)와 플러그(30)를 포함하는 결합수단으로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 리본형 광케이블용 다심 광커넥터.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 정렬수단은 어댑터(10)의 바닥면에 고정되고 상측에 홈(13)이 형성된 V형의 정렬블록(12)과 상기 정렬블록(12)에 끼워질 수 있도록 더블테이홈(44)이 하부에 형성되며 광섬유(50)가 삽입되는 다수의 미세구멍(42)이 형성된 안내부(41)을 갖는 페룰(40) 및 상기 페룰(40)의 후측부에 탄성력을 작용하도록 플러그(30)의 양측 스프링끼움홈(36)에 설치되는 판스프링(37)으로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 리본형 광케이블용 다심 광커넥터.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 결합수단은 조립성이 향상되도록 상단부재(31)와 하단부재(32)로 구성되고 탄성을 갖는 외팔보(34)가 형성된 플러그(30)와; 상기 플러그(30)가 끼워져 결합되는 광케이블 보호기구(20)와 양측의 플러그(30)을 체결하도록 하는 어댑터(10)로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 리본형 광케이블용 다심 광커넥터.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 결합수단은 플러그(30)의 일측에 형성되고 탄성을 갖는 외팔보(34)의 선단 플러그돌기(35)와 어댑터(10)에 형성된 체결홈(11)이 상호 결합되어 견고한 지지상태를 유지하도록 함을 특징으로 하는 리본형 광케이블용 다심 광커넥터.
