Abstract

보오크사이트로 부터 알루미나를 추출하는 공정은 부식성 폐액(18)의 일부분을 농축하는 단계, 상기 농축된 부식성 폐액을 보오크사이트 슬러리(3)와 결합하여 슬러리/용액 혼합물에서 0.7 이상의 부식 비율(A/C)로 최종 알루미나를 제공하는 단계, 그 혼합물을 열교환기(5)의 수단에 의해 가열하는 단계, 용해된 깁사이트를 베마이트로 역전함으로써 슬러리내의 깁사이트 보오크사이트로 부터 알루미나를 추출하는 온도이하에서 탱크(7)에서 혼합물을 분해시키는 단계, 고 알루미나 귀액(9)을 압력 경사분리기(8)의 잔류물을 함유하는 베마이트로 부터 분리하는 단계, 잔류물을 농축되지 않은 부식성 폐액(18)의 잔존 부분과 혼합하고 그 혼합물을 탱크(11)에서 고온 분해시켜 잔류물로 부터 잔존 알루미나를 추출하는 단계, 분해된 혼합물을 플래쉬 탱크(13)에서 플래쉬 냉각하는 단계, 및 알루미나 풍부의 용액을 고 알루미나 귀액으로 부터 그리고 대기압 분리기(14) 또는 압력 유리병(17)의 분해된 혼합물로 부터 분리하는 단계를 포함한다.

Claims (9)

  1. 부식액과 보오크사이트 슬러리를 혼합하여 최종 슬러리/액체 혼합물중에 0.7 이상의 알루미나 대 부식제비(A/C)를 제공하는 단계, 용해된 깁사이트가 베마이트로의 역전이 일어날 수 있는 온도이하에서 상기 혼합물이 분해하여 슬러리중에 깁사이트 보오크사이트로부터 알루미나를 추출하는 단계, 베마이트함유 잔류물로 부터 고 알루미나 귀액을 분리하는 단계, 상기 잔류물을 부식액과 혼합하고 상기 혼합물을 고온 분해 공정으로 처리하여 상기 잔류물로 부터 나머지 알루미나를 추출하는 단계 및 알루미나 귀액을 분리하는 단계를 포함하는 보오크사이트로 부터 알루미나를 추출하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 부식성 폐액의 일부분을 농축시키고, 상기 폐액의 일부분을 상기 보오크사이트슬러리와 부식액 보급제를 함께 혼합하여 요구되는 바대로 7.0 이상의 A/C를 달성하는 것을 추가로 포함하는 방법.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 고 알루미나 귀액이 압력 유리병에서 베마이트 함유 잔류물로 부터 분리되는 방법.
  4. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 베마이트함유 잔류물이 고온 분해전에 부식성 폐액의 잔존 부분과 혼합되는 방법.
  5. 제3항에 있어서, 베마이트 함유 잔류물이 고온 분해전에 부식성 폐액의 잔존 부분과 혼합되는 방법.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, 분해된 혼합물이 냉각되고, 알루미나 귀액이 대기압 침전기 또는 압력 유리병에서 분리되는 방법.
  7. 제5항에 있어서, 분해된 혼합물이 냉각되고, 알루미나 귀액이 대기압 침전기 또는 압력 유리병에서 분리되는 방법.
  8. 제1항 내지 제7항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 제1 분해단계에 슬러리를 탈실리케이트시키는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
  9. 제1항 내지 제7항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 저온 분해공정 후에 분해된 혼합물을 탈실리케이트시키는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
