Abstract

본 발명은 액정표시소자(LCD; Liquid Crystal Display)에 관한 것으로서, 투명전극과 배향막이 형성된 상하부 기판이 조합되고 그 사이에 액정이 수평 배향된 구동용 셀에 있어서 LCD 패널 내에 형성되는 색필터층을 제거하는 대신 종래 평관판이 형성되던 위치의 적어도 어느 한쪽에 칼라 편광판을 부착하므로써 LCD의 제조 프로세스를 간략화시킬 수 있고 표시품질을 향상시킬 수 있는 칼라 액정표시소자를 실현할 수 있다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
