Abstract

섬유 광학 커넥터(20)는 리테이너 클립(28) 및 절단부(30)를 절단하기 위한 지지부(26)를 포함한다. 커넥터 하우징(20)은 섬유 케이블(2)을 수납하는 케이블 수납 구멍(35)을 가진다. 섬유케이블(2)은 구멍(35)에 수납되며, 섬유 케이블(6)은 절단부(30)의 전방면(50)을 지나 돌출한다. 절단 가능한 단부(30)는 단부면을 깨끗하게 형성하도록 노치에 인접하여 제거된다.

Claims (7)

  1. 전방 결합 단부 및 케이블 수납 단부를 가지며, 벗긴 섬유의 수납을 위해 하우징을 통해 관통한 구멍을 가진 커넥터 하우징을 제공하는 단계와, 벗긴 섬유 케이블이 전방 결합 단부에 인접할 때까지 벗긴 섬유 단부를 가진 섬유 케이블을 케이블 수납 단부내로 삽입하는 단계와, 케이블을 커넥터에 유지하는 단계와, 평면의 결합면을 제공하도록 전방 결합 단부 및 벗긴 섬유의 일부를 절단하는 단계를 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 섬유 접속체의 형성 방법.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 섬유 케이블은 절단 작동 전에 전방 결합 단부를 지나 연장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 섬유 접속체의 형성 방법.
  3. 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 커넥터 하우징은 그 전방 단부쪽에 노치가 제공되며, 상기 커넥터 하우징은 노치를 통해 절단되어 모따기를 한 선단부를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 섬유 접속체의 형성 방법.
  4. 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 절단 단계는 세라믹 나이프의 블레이드로 성취되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 섬유 접속체의 형성 방법.
  5. 나이프를 포함하며 섬유 케이블을 통해 절단하기 위한 절단 공구에 있어서, 상기 나이 또는 세라믹 재료로 형성되며, 나이프는 나이프 이동 방향에 대해 빗각을 가진 절단 예지를 가지며, 나이프는 날카로운 전단 에지를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 절단 공구.
  6. 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 예각이 45˚인 것을 특징으로 하는 절단 공구.
  7. 제 5 항 또는 제 6 항에 있어서, 상기 절단 에지는 20˚의 대칭 팁을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 절단 공구.
