Abstract

제 1 및 제2터미날 사이에 보안 통신 링크를 설정하는 방법은 제1메세지를 교환하는 단계를 포함한다. 제1메세지는 사용자 인증 정보와 터미날내에 가용한 통신 모드와 암호화 장치를 기술하는 정보를 포함한다. 그 방법은 역시 적어도 하나의 터미날에서 공통 키 발생과 암호화 알고리즘을 선택하는 단계를 포함한다. 상기 방법은 교통랑 키를 형성하는 데이타를 제공하도록 제2메세지를 교환하는 단계와, 보완 통신을 동기화하도록 제3메세지를 교환하는 단계와 보안 통신을 시작하는 단계를 포함한다.

제1도는 본 발명에 따른 데이타 통신 네트웍을 이용한 보완 통신 시스템의 블럭도, 제2도는 본 발명에 따른 보완 통신을 시작하도록 하는 일부의 메세지 시퀀스를 예시; 제3도는 본 발명에 따른 보안 통신 시스템 일부의 간략화된 블럭도; 제4도는 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 따른 암호 알고리즘 매칭 과정을 예시한 흐름도, 제5도는 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 따른 보안 통신을 설정하기 위해 제2도 메세지 교환의 일부를 상세히 도시하는 흐름도; 및 제6도는 본 발명에 따른 보완 통신 장치 일부의 간략화된 블럭도.

Claims (4)

  1. 제1 및 제2터미날 사이에 보안 통신 링크를 설정하는 방법에 있어서, 제1 및 제2터미날은 (a) 사용자 인증(authentication) 정보를 기술하는 공용-키 암호화된 정보를 포함하고 제1 및 제2터미날내에 가용한 암호와 장치와 통신 모드를 기술하는 평문 정보를 포함하는 제1메세지를 교환하는 단계와; (b) 제1 및 제2터미날중 적어도 하나에서 공통 키 발생 및 암호화 방법을 선택하는 단계와; (c) 교통량 키를 형성하기 위해 공용-키 암호화된 데이타를 포함하는 제2메세지를 교환하는 단계와; (d) 보안 통신을 동기화하기 위해 제3메세지를 교환하는 단계 및; (e) 보안 통신을 동기화하기 위해 제3메세지를 교환하는 단계 및; (e) 보안 통신을 시작하는 단계를 포함하는 절차에 따른 것을 특징으로 하는 보안 통신 링크 설정 방법.
  2. 적어도 제1 및 제2터미날 사이에 보안 통신 링크를 설정하는 방법에 있어서, 제1 및 제2터미날 각각은 (a) 암호화 및 해독 기능을 식별시키는 데이타용 인증 팩키지, 인가된 사용자 인증 데이타 및 제1공용 암호화 키를 포함하는 제1메세지를 전송하는 단계와; (b) 암호화 및 해독 기능을 식별시키는 데이타용 인증 팩키지, 인가된 사용자 인증 데이타 및 제1공용 암호화 키를 포함하는 제2메세지를 수신하는 단계와; (c) 제1임의 숫자를 포함하는 제1임의 요소 메세지를 전송하는 단계와; (d) 제2임의 숫자를 포함하는 제2임의 요소 메세지를 수신하는 단계와; (e) 제1 및 제2임의 숫자로 부터 숫자로 부터 교통량 키를 형성하는 단계와; (f) 암호 표기의 동기 메세지를 교환하는 단계 및; (g) 보안 정보 교환을 시작하는 단계를 포함하는 절차에 따르는 것을 특징으로 하는 보안 통신 링크 설정 방법.
  3. 제1 및 제2터미날 사이에 보안 통신을 제공하는 장치에 있어서, 상기 장치는 다수의 다른 암호화 알고리즘을 이용하여 암호화하는 수단과; 상기 암호화하는 수단에 연결되어 메세지를 전송하는 수단과; 상기 암호화하는 수단에 연결되어 메세지를 수신하는 수단 및; 상기 암호화, 전송 및 수신 수단과 결합되며, (i) 터미날 인증 정보를 기술하는 제2암호화된 부분을 포함하고 상기 제1터미날내에 가용한 통신 모드와 암호화 알고리즘 상에 정보를 제공하는 제1평문 부분을 포함하는 제1메세지를 상기 제2터미날에 보내고; (ⅱ) 교통량 키를 형성하도록 데이타를 제공하기 위해 상기 제2터미날에 제2메세지를 보내고; (ⅲ) 상기 교통량 키를 이용하여 상기 제2터미날과 보안통신을 시작 하도록 하는, 전송 수단 및 수신 수단으로 구성되는 제어 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 보안 통신 제공 장치.
  4. 다른 보안 통신 장치와 통신하는 보안 통신 장치에 있어서, 상기 보안 통신 장치는 다른 암호화 모드와 통신 모드를 제공하는 수단과; 제1 및 제2기능 및 인증 메세지는 상기 보안 통신장치와 상기 다른 보안 통신 장치에 내재하는 상기 다른 암호화 모드와 통신 모드를 식별시키는 소정의 평문 데이타 필드를 구비하며, 사용자 공용 키를 제공하는 소정의 암호문 데이타 필드와 현재 및 이전의 공용 해독 키로 표시된 소정의 평문 데이타 필드를 구비하게 상기 다른 보안 통신 장치로 부터 제2기능과 인증 메세지를 수신하고 다른 보안 통신 장치로 제1기능과 인증 메세지를 보내는 수단과; 기억된 우선 프로토콜(preference protocol)에 따라 적합한 암호화 모드와 적합한 통신 모드를 선택하고 식별하도록 상기 제1 및 상기 제2기능 및 인증 메세지를 비교하는 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 보안 통신 장치.
