Abstract

본 발명은 아미노아라졸의 금속 착물인 비-아지드 연료를 포함하는 가스 발생 조성물 또는 추진제에 관한 것이다. 전이 금속 착물로는 5-아미노테트라졸 및 3-아미노-1,2,4-트리아졸의 아연 및 금속 착물이 바람직하며, 아연 착물이 가장 바람직하다. 본 발명의 추진제 조성물은 질산 칼륨 또는 질산 스트론튬과 같은 통상적인 산화제도 포함한다. 본 발명의 조성물은 다양한 용도에 있어서, 구체적으로 자동차 억제 시스템내의 에어 백 뿐만 아니라 기타 팽창 가능한 장치를 팽창시키기 위한 질소-함유 가스를 발생시키는데 유용하다.

Claims (20)

  1. 비-아지드 연료와 이에 대한 산화제를 함유하되, 상기 비-아지드 연료는 아미노아라졸의 전이 금속 착물을 포함하는, 질소-함유 가스를 발생시키 위한 고형 조성물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 아미노아라졸이 5-아미노테트라졸의 전기 금속 착물 및 3-아미노-1,2,4-트리아졸의 전기 금속 착물중에서 선택되는 조성물.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 전이 금속이 아연 및 구리중에서 선택되는 조성물.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 전이 금속 착물이 5-아미노테트라졸의 아연 착물인 조성물.
  5. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 전이 금속 착물이 3-아미노-1,2,4-트리아졸의 아연 착물인 조성물.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 산화제가 KNO3, Sr(NO3)2및 이들의 혼합물중에서 선택되는 조성물.
  7. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 산화제가 Sr(NO3)2인 조성물.
  8. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 산하제가 Sr(NO3)2인 조성물.
  9. 제1항에 정의한 조성물을 점화하는 단계를 포함하는, 질소-함유 가스를 발생시키는 방법.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 상기아미노아라졸이 5-아미노테트라졸의 전이 금속 착물 및 3-아미노-1,2,4-트리아졸의 전이 금속 착물중에서 선택되는 방법.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 전이 금속 착물이 5-아미노테트라졸의 아연 착물인 방법.
  12. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 전이 금속 착물이 3-아미노-1,2,4-트리아졸의 아연착물인 방법.
  13. 제11항에 있어서, 상기 산화제가 Sr(NO3)2인 조성물.
  14. 제12항에 있어서, 상기 산화제가 Sr(NO3)2인 조성물.
  15. 제1항에 정의한 조성물을 점화하는 단계 및 그로부터 발생된 가스를 사용하여 에어 백을 팽창시키는 단계를 포함하는, 에어 백을 팽창시키는 방법.
  16. 제15항에 있어서, 상기 아미노아라졸이 5-아미노테트라졸의 전기 금속 착물 및 3-아미노-1,2,4-트리아졸의 금속 착물중에서 선택되는 방법.
  17. 제16항에 있어서, 상기 전이 금속 착물이 5-아미노테트라졸의 아연 착물인 방법.
  18. 제16항에 있어서, 상기 전이 금속 착물이 3-아미노-1,2,4-트리아졸의 아연착물인 방법.
  19. 제16에 있어서, 상기 산화제가 KNO3, Sr(NO3)2및 이들의 혼합물중에서 선택되는 방법.
  20. 가스 배출구를가진 금속 하우징, 상기 하우징내에 배치된 제1항에서 정의한 가스 발생 조성물, 상기 하우징 내부에 상기 조성물과 인접하여 배치된 점화장치, 및 상기 조성물과 상기 배출구 사이에 배치된 가스 여과 시스템을 포함하는, 자동차 에어 백 팽창 장치.
