Abstract

리테이너에 부착된 에어백을 덮어주는 모듈커버가 장착된 에어백장치에 있어서, 모듈커버의 장착을 쉽게 할뿐만 아니라 모듈커버의 벗겨짐을 방지한다.
모듈커버(18)에는 리테이너(10)에 대해서 걸릴 수 있는 걸림턱(30)을 형성하며, 모듈커버(18)는 단일성형법으로 성형한다.
에어백을 접은 후, 그 위에 모듈커버를 덮으면, 모듈커버에 형성된 삽입공과 리테이너에 형성된 돌출편이 서로 결합되므로써, 리테이너로부터 모듈커버가 벗겨지는 일이 발생되지 않는다.
조립공정에서는 모듈커버가 리테이너에 대해서 임시로 고정된 구조이므로, 에어백 장치의 조립을 극히 간단하게 실시할 수 있다.
에어백장치가 작동하여 모듈커버가 개열될 때에도 모듈커버와 리테이너와의 결합은 완벽하게 유지된다.

Claims (1)

  1. 리테이너(10)에 부착된 에어백(12)을 덮어주는 커버이며, 단일성형법에 의해 성형된 모듈커버(18)가 장착된 에어백장치에 있어서, 모듈커버(18)에는 삽입공(36)이 형성되어 있으며, 리테이너(10)에는 상기한 삽입공(36)으로 삽입되어 상기한 모듈커버(18)와 리테이너(10)의 결합상태를 유지할 수 있는 돌출편(13)이 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백장치.
