Claims (8)

  1. 하기 일반식(Ⅰ)의 화합물:
    상기식에서, X1는 불소 또는 염소를 나타내고; X2는 수소, 불소 또는 염소를 나나태며; R1은 임의로 〉CH-CH〈그룹이 〉C=C〈로 치환되고/되거나 메틸렌 그룹이 산소를 치환된 알킬그룹을 나타낸다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, R1이 직쇄 또는 잔기를 나타내는 화합물.
  3. 제1항 또는 2항에 있어서, R1이 최대 12개, 바람직하게는 최대 7개의 탄소원자를 갖는 화합물.
  4. 제1항 내지 3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, R1이 알킬, 1E-알케닐, 3E-알케닐 또는 4-알케닐을 나타내는 화합물.
  5. 적어도 하나의 성분이 제1항에서 정의된 일반식(Ⅰ)의 화합물인, 적어도 두개의 성분들을 갖는 액정 혼합물.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 일반식(Ⅰ)의 화합물의 양이 1 내지 50, 바람직하게는 5 내지 30중량%인 액정 혼합물.
  7. 하기 일반식(Ⅱ)의 알데히드 또는 그의 아세탈과 하기 일반식(Ⅲ)의 화합물을 반응시키는 것을 포함하는 제1항의 일반식(Ⅰ)화합물의 제조방법:
    상기식에서, R1,X1및 X2는 제1항에서 주어진 의미를 갖는다.
  8. 전기 광학적 목적을 위한 제1항의 일반식(Ⅰ)화합물의 용도.
