Description
본 발명은 칼라 음극선관의 스크린막 제조공정 중 형광체의 부착력을 강화시켜 주도록 블랙매트릭스가 형성된 패널의 내면에 도포되는 하도액(下塗液)에 관한 것이다.The present invention relates to an undercoating solution applied to an inner surface of a panel on which a black matrix is formed so as to enhance adhesion of phosphors in a screen film manufacturing process of a color cathode ray tube.
종래의 일반적인 하도액은 순수(純水)에 8% P.V.A.와 5% A.D.C.를 적정량 혼합하여 된 것으로서, 접착성을 가지는 상기 P.V.A.의 전체 중량비는 대개가 0.15% 정도이다. 이 P.V.A.는 젖은 패널면에 부착되어 유리의 Si분자와 공유결합하여 부착력을 발생시키는 것으로서 형광막이 형성완료된 후에는 소성공정을 통하여 제거되는 것이다. 이때에 P.V.A.는 소성되면서 가스를 발생시키는데 그 양이 너무 많게되면 형광막 표면의 알루미늄막을 들뜨게 하거나, 형광스트라이프를 박시키거나 하게된다.The conventional common undercoating solution is obtained by mixing an appropriate amount of 8% P.V.A. and 5% A.D.C. in pure water, and the total weight ratio of the P.V.A. having adhesiveness is about 0.15%. 이상과 같은 조성으로서 가장 바람직한 하도액의 조성이 가능한데, 순수에 상기 P.V.A.를 섞어서 적정시간 교반을 하며, 아울러 이에 상기 A.D.C.를 첨가한다. 그리고 상기 질산 알루미늄[Al(NO3)3·9H2O]을 첨가하여 계속 교반한다.As the above composition, the most preferable composition of the undercoating solution is possible. 상기와 같은 조성으로 제조되는 본 발명의 하도액은 본 발명자의 반복실험에 의한 것으로서 매우 양호한 점착력으로 종래의 하도액에 손색이 없음을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 상기 하도액의 성분별 함량은 P.V.A.가 0.05∼0.12%이고, Al2(NO3)3·9H2O이 1.0∼2.0%이며, A.D.C.는 0.05∼0.12%인 것이다. 각 성분함량 중 중간값이 가장 바람직하다 할 수 있겠다. 이는 P.V.A.가 감소된 대신에 질산암모늄을 첨가하여 형광막의 제조가 완료된 후 상기 하도액에 의한 접착층이 소각 될 때에 가스 발생량이 감소되어 알루미늄 중착막이나 형광스트라이프에 큰 압력이 가해지지 않기 때문인 것인데, 결과적으로 스크린막이 손상되는 일이 줄어들고 나아가서는 관내 이물질에 의한 샤도우마스크의 구멍막힘 등의 불량요인이 크게 줄어 들었다.The undercoating solution of the present invention prepared with the composition as described above was found to be inferior to the conventional undercoating solution by the inventors' repeated experiments with very good adhesive force.
