Claims (19)

  1. 약 60,000 내지 500,000의 평균 분자량을 갖는 열가소성 폴리우레탄이, 약 500 내지 5,000의 평균 분자량을 갖는 히드록실 말단 에틸렌 에테르 올리고머 중간 물질을 비간섭디이소시아네이트 및 중량체 글리콜과 반응시켜 고분자량 열가소성 폴리우레탄을 생성하며, 상기 올리고머 중간물질을 (a) 히드록실 말단 디에틸렌 글리콜-지방족 선상 폴리에스테르, 또는 (b) 폴리에틸렌 글리콜로부터 선택함으로써, 이루어지는, 특징으로서 지방족 탄화수소연료에 대한 내성을 가지며 신축성 연료 용기의 구조물에 있어서, 지방족 탄화수소 연료 장벽으로서 사용하는데에 적합한 고분자량 열가소성 폴리우레탄에 있어서, 상기 히드록실 말단 디에틸렌 글리콜-지방족 선상 폴리에스테르 (a)는 디에틸렌 글리콜을 C4-C10의 지방족 디카르복실산과 에스테르화 (반응) 시켜 선상 포화 폴리에스테르 올리고머를 생성하고, 상기 폴리에틸렌 글리콜 (b)은 반복 에틸렌 에테르 단위체 n(여기서, n은 약 11 내지 115임)으로 이루어지고, 상기 비간섭 디이소시아네이트는 방향족 또는 지환족 디이소시아네이트이며, 상기 중량체 글리콜은 단지 일차 알코올기만을 함유하는 C2-C6의 비에테르계 글리콜임을 특징으로 하는, 지방족 탄화수소 연료에 대한 내성을 가지며 신축성 연료 용기의 구조물에 있어서 지방족 탄화수소 연료장벽으로서 사용하는데 적합한 고분자량 열가소성 폴리우레탄.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 열가소성 폴리우레탄의 초기 인장 강도가 최소한 3,000 psi이며 연료 B에 14일동안 침지후 인장 강도는 초기 인장 강도의 최소한 80%임을 특징으로 하는 열가소성 폴리우레탄.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 히드록실 말단 폴리에스테르 올로고머 (a)가 평균4내지 8의 반복 에스테르 단위체를 함유하며 약 700 내지 2500의 평균 분자량을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 열가소성 폴리우레탄.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 디카르복실산이 아디프산이며 약5 내지 약50퍼센트 초과 몰의 상기 디에틸렌 글리콜을 상기 지방족 디카르복실산의 매 1몰당 사용함을 특징으로 하는 열가소성 폴리우레탄.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 디이소시아네이트가 4, 4′-메틸렌 비스(페닐 이소시아네이트)이며 상기 디이소시아네이트는 상기 연장제 글리콜 및 상기 에틸렌 에테르 올리고머 중간물질과 동시에 반응시킴을 특징으로 하는 열가소성 폴리우레탄.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 중량제 글리콜은 1, 4-부탄디올이며 상기 올리고머 글리콜 중간물질 당 상기 중량제 글리콜의 양은 약 0.1 내지 3.0몰임을 특징으로 하는 열가소성 폴리우레탄.
  7. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 디이소시아네이트의 양은 상기 올리고머 중간물질과 상기 증량제 글리콜의 매 총 1몰 당 약 0.97 내지 1.02몰이며 상기 열가소성 폴리우레탄의 분자량은 약80,000 내지 약 180,000임을 특징으로 하는 열가소성 폴리우레탄.
  8. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 디이소시아네이트의 양은 상기 올리고머 중간물질과 상기 증량제 글리콜의 매 총 1몰 당 약0.97 내지 1.02몰이고, 상기 열가소성 폴리우레탄의 분자량은 약80,000 내지 약 180,000이며, 연료 B속에 14일동안 침지후 상기 열가소성 폴리우레탄의 인장 강도는 초기 인장 강도의 최소한 85퍼센트임을 특징으로 하는 열가소성 폴리우레탄.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 열가소성 폴리우레탄은 약 100,000 내지 약 180,000의 분자량을 가지며, 연료 B속에 14일동암 침지후 상기 열가소성 폴리우레탄의 인장 강도는 초기 인장 강도의 최소한 85 퍼센트임을 특징으로 하는 열가소성 폴리우레탄.
  10. 제2항에 있어서, 연료 B속에 14일동암 침지후 상기 인장 강도의 잔류정도는 원래 인장 강도의 최소한 90퍼센트임을 특징으로 하는 열가소성 폴리우레탄.
  11. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 폴리우레탄을 강화 직물에 용융 부착시켜 상기 강화 직물을 포화시키고 폴리우레탄-직물 복합체를 생성하며, 상기 복합체는 신축성 연료 용기로 성형함을 특징으로 하는 열가소성 폴리우레탄.
  12. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 폴리우레탄을 강화 직물에 용융 부착시켜 상기 강화 직물을 포화시키고 폴리우레탄-직물 복합체를 생성하며, 상기 복합체는 신축성 연료 용기로 성형함을 특징으로 하는 열가소성 폴리우레탄.
  13. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 폴리우레탄을 강화 직물에 용융 부착시켜 상기 강화 직물을 포화시키고 폴리우레탄-직물 복합체를 생성하며, 상기 복합체는 신축성 연료 용기로 성형함을 특징으로 하는 열가소성 폴리우레탄.
  14. 지방족 탄화수소 연료 함유용 신축성 연료 용기를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 폴리우레탄을 강화 직물에 용융 부착시켜 상기 강화 직물을 포화시키고 폴리우레탄-직물 복합체를 형성하고 상기 복합체를 신축성 연료 용기로 성형하는, 제2항의 열가소성 폴리우레탄을 제공하는 단계로 이루어지는 직방족 탄화수소 연료용 신축성 연료 용기를 제조하는 방법.
  15. 지방족 탄화수소 연료 함유용 신축성 연료용기를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 상기 폴리우레탄을 강화 직물에 용융 부착시켜 상기 강화 직물을 포화시키고 폴리우레탄-직물 복합체를 형성하고 상기 복합체를 신축성 연료 용기로 성형하는, 제6항의 열가소성 폴리우레탄을 제공하는 단계로 이루어지는 직방족 탄화수소 연료용 신축성 연료 용기를 제조하는 방법.
  16. 열가소성 폴리우레탄은 초과 당량의 디에틸렌 글리콜을 좀더 적은 당량의 아디프산과 에스테르화 (반응)시킴으로써 생성된 히드록실 말단 폴리에스테르 올리고머로부터 생성함을 특징으로 하는 제2항의 폴리우레탄 합성법.
  17. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 폴리우레탄이 우수한 스티렌내성을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 열가소성 폴리우레탄.
  18. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 폴리우레탄이 우수한 스티렌내성을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 열가소성 폴리우레탄.
  19. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 폴리우레탄이 우수한 스티렌내성을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 열가소성 폴리우레탄.
