Description

센서신호의 점검용 어댑터 모듈(adapter module)
제1도는 이 고안의 한실시예에 관한 어댑터 모듈의 사용예를 나타내는 구성도이다.
제2도는 어댑터 모듈의 구성도이다.

21∼23 : 다중교환장치(multiplexor) 24 : A/D 변환기
25 : 마이크로 컴퓨터 26 : ROM
이고안은 센서신호점검용 어댑터 모듈에 관한 것이다.
근년에 있어서, 자동차의 엘렉트릭스화는 눈부시게 발전되어, 자동차에 탑제되는 전자제어장치(ECU)도 각기능에 대응시켜 설치되게끔 되게되었다.
이들 ECU로서는 전자제어서스펜숀(Suspension)장치용, ECU 4속(速) 오토매틱(4A/T)용 ECU, 오토크루스(Cruise)용 ECU, 전자제어연료분산용 ECU등이 있으며, 각 ECU에서는 ECU의 에라코드(Error Cord), 소위 다이아그노시스(diagnosis)신호 (자기진단출력력신호)가 1개의 신호라인에서 출력된다.
그리고 n개의 전자제어장치의 ECU1∼ECUN에서 출력되는 자기 진단 출력신호는 퓨즈박스에 설치된 다이아그노시코넥터에 모아진다. 그리고, 이 다이아그노시스코넥터에 다이아그노시스테스타(도시생략)측의 코넥터를 삽입하고, 자기진단 출력신호에 의하여 다이아그노시스 테스타에 설치된 발광다이오드를 점등하도록 되어 있다.
이와같이 종래의 다이아그노시스코드 ECU측에서 일방적으로 보내지는 테이터이며 그 전송속도는 저속이기 때문에 다이그노시스테스타측에 있어서 고속으로 처리할수는 없었다.
그래서 다이아그노시스를 고속으로 처리하고 더구나 ECU측에 테스트 신호를 송출시키면 자기진단용 다기능 테스타로도 생각할수 있지만, 각 ECU마다 핀수가 다르기 때문에 ECU에 입력되는 각 센서로부터는 신호를 검출할 수 없는 문제점이 있었다.
이 고안은 핀수가 다른 ECU와 자기진단용 다기능테스타의 정합(整合, matching)을 꾀할수있는 센서신호점검용 어댑터모듈을 제공하는데 있다.
차량에 탑제되는 전자제어장치에 고유의 핀수를 가진 차량측 코넥터부와, 자기진단용 다기능 테스타에 접속되는 테스타측코넥터부와, 상기양차량측코넥터의 신호를 변환시켜 테스타측코넥터부와, 출력하는 신호변환수단 등을 구비한 센서신호점검용 어댑터모듈이다.
이하, 도면을 참조하여 이 고안의 한 실시예에 관한 센서검출용 어댑터모듈에 대하여 설명한다.
제1도에 있어서, 11은 자기진단용 다기능테스타이다.
이 자기진단용 다기능 테스타(11)는 차량에 탑제된 ECU(전자제어장치)에서 출력되는 자기진단출력신호 혹은 메모리 정보를 고속으로 수신하는 또는 ECU측에 엑튜에이터구동등의 시험신호를 송출할수 있다.
이 자기진단용 다기능 테스타(11)의 전원은 담배라이타 (도시생략)용 단자(12)에서 취하게 된다.
또한 13은 차량의 집중코넥터(도시생략)에 접속된다.
예컨데 12편의 집중코넥터이다. 그리고 14는 전 2중 시리얼통신이 가능한 7핀의 확장용 코넥터이다. 또 이 확장용 코넥터(14)에 이 고안의 센서 검출용 어뎁터모듈(15)이 접속된다.
그런데, 통상은 코넥터A와 B가 접속되어 차체측하니스(harness)와 ECU와 접속되어 각 센서신호등이 차체측하니스에서 ECU(16)에 출력된다.
이와같이 각종센서신호를 상기자기진단용 다기능테스타(11)에서 검출하고져 할 경우에는 2분리하니스(17)를 코넥터A와 B간에 접속시킴으로서 차체측하니스를 통하여 신호를 자기진단용 다기능테스타(11)에 송출함과 동시에 ECU(16)에도 송출하고 있다.
제2도를 참조하여 센서검출용 어댑터모듈(15)의 상세한 구성에 관하여 설명한다.
이 도면에 있어서, C1∼C3는 차량에 탑제되는 여러개의 ECU의 코넥터의 핀수와 동일한 핀수를 가진 코넥터이다. 예컨데, 코넥터(C1)는 13핀, 코넥터(C2)는 17핀이다. 그리고, 상기코넥터(C1)∼(C3)를 통하여 신호는 다중교환장치(21)∼(23)에 의하여 선택되고 A/D변환기(24)에 의하여 디지탈신호로 변환되어 마이크로컴퓨터(25)에 입력된다. 이 마이크로컴퓨터(25)에 있어서, 상기 A/D변환기(24)를 통한 신호의 P/S(파라렐/시리얼)변환이 진행된다. 또 이 마이크로컴퓨터(25)는 상기 다중교환장치(21)∼(23)에 선택신호 S를 출력시킨다. 그리고 26은 제어ROM, 27은 전원회로이다.
상기 마이크로컴퓨터(25) 및 (26)은 상기확장코넥터(14)에 접속할수있는 하니스(28)를 통한 신호선이 접속된다.
다음에, 상기와같이 구성된 이 고안의 한 실시예의 동작에 관하여 설명한다.
우선, ECU(16)에 접속되는 차체측하니스로부터 특정의 신호라인을 통하는 센서출력신호를 자기진단용 다기능테스타(11)에서 진단하고져 할 경우에는 코넥터A, B간에 분기하니스(17)를 제1도에 표시한것과 같이 접속한다.
그리고, 어댑터모듈(15)의 하니스(28)를 테스타(11)의 확장용 코넥터(14)에 접속한다. 예컨데, 코넥터(C3)에 분기하니스(17)가 접속된 경우에 관하여 설명한다. 이 경우에는 마이크로컴퓨터(25)로부터의 선택신호 S에 의하여 다중교환장치(23)가 선택된다. 이 때문에 차체측하니스로부터 출력되는 신호는 코넥터C3, 다중교환장치(23)을 통해 A/D변환기(24)에 의하여 시리얼신호로 변환된다. 그리고, 이 호는 하니스(28)를 통하여 확장용 코넥터(14)에 송신된다.
이와같이해서 ECU(16)의 피라렐신호를 시리얼신호를 변환시켜 자기진단용 다기능테스타(11)에 송신할수 있다. 그런데 ECU(16)이외의 ECU의 신호를 검출하고져 할때는 ECU의 핀수와 동일한 핀수의 코넥터를 코넥터 C1∼C3중에서 선택하여 동일한 처리를 하면 된다.
이상 설명한 바와같이 이 고안에 의하면, 시리얼전송기능을 갖지않는 기종의 낡은 차량에 관하여 자기진단기능용 다기능테스타를 사용할수있고 더구나 ECU에 입력되는 신호를 체크할수 있는 센서신호검출용 어댑터모듈을 제공할수 있다.

  1. 차량에 탑재되는 전자제어장치에 고유핀수를 가진 차량측 코넥터부와, 자기진단용 다기능테스타에 접속되는 테스타측 코넥터부와, 상기차량측코넥터의 신호를 변환시켜 테스타측코넥터부에 출력하는 신호변환수단 등을 구비한 센서신호 검출용 어댑터모듈.
