제2도는 처리를 수행하기에 적합한 장치의 한 형태를 나타낸다.

Claims (19)

  1. 적절한 몰비로 혼합될 경우 포지티브 공비혼합물을 형성할 수 있는 유기-붕소 화합물 (이 유기-붕소 화합물은 재목 또는 목재판 중에서 붕산 반응 생성물과 다른 반응 생성물로 가수분해된)과 제2화합물을 포함하는 혼합물로부터 유도된 증기에 재목 또는 목재판을 노출시키며, 이러한 증기 노출은, 선택된 처리조건하에서, 사용된 혼합물이 비점보다 높거나 이와 동일하지만 상기한 다른 반응 생성물의 비점보다 낮은 온도에서 수행됨을 특징으로 하여, 재목 또는 목재판을 처리하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 유기-붕소 화합물이 액체이며, 제2화합물은 액체 알콜인 방법.
  3. 제1항 또는 2항에 있어서, 유기-붕소 화합물이 트리메틸 보레이트를 포함하고/하거나 제2화합물은 메탄올을 포함하는 방법.
  4. 제1항 내지 3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기한 다른 반응 생성물이 메탄올을 포함하는 방법.
  5. 제1항 내지 5항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 감소 또는 증가된 초기 압력에서 수행되는 방법.
  6. 제1항 내지 5항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 재목의 경우 바람직하게는 0 내지 28%, 더 바람직하게는 6 내지 20%범위의 작용성 수분함량에서, 목재판의 경우 바람직하게는 2 내지 20%범위의 작용성 수분함량에서 수행되는 방법.
  7. 제1항 내지 5항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 감소된 작용성 수분 함량에서 재목 또는 목재판을 처리하는 방법.
  8. 제1항 내지 7항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 증기 노출이 또한 유기-붕소 화합물 및/또는 제2화합물의 비점 이하의 온도에서 수행되는 방법.
  9. 제1항 내지 8항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 혼합물이 유기-붕소 화합물과 제2화합물을 공비혼합물 몰비로 또는 이에 근접한 몰비로 포함하며, 바람직하게는 혼합물이 트리메틸 보레이트와 메탄올의 공비혼합물을 포함하는 방법.
  10. 제1항 내지 9항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 붕산이 재목 또는 목재판으로 부분적으로 침투되도록 처리하는 방법.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 부분적 침투가 재목 또는 목재판의 약5 내지 25%의 두께 및/또는 깊이임을 포함하는 방법.
  12. 제1항 내지 11항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 처리 온도가 -20내지 75℃, 바람직하게는 10℃이상 64.7℃미만의 범위인 방법.
  13. 제1항 내지 12항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 대기압에서 처리온도(T)가 54.3℃<T<64.7℃미만의 범위인 방법.
  14. 목재 또는 목재판을 수용할 수 있고 부분적으로 또는 거의 진공화될 수 있는 처리실, 처리실 내부의 온도 및/또는 압력을 확인하기 위한 처리실과 연결된 수단, 유기-붕소 화합물과 제2화합물의 혼합물을 함유하는 저장기, 저장기와 처리실 사이에 기체 또는 액체가 전달되게하는 수단, 및 처리실내에 혼합물 증가가 계속 존재하게 하는 수단을 포함하며, 처리실의 압력 및/또는 온도를 변화시킬 수 있는, 제1항 내지 13항중 어느 한 항에 따른 방법을 수행하기에 적합한 재목 또는 목재판 처리 장치.
  15. 제14항에 있어서, 처리실, 혼합물 저장기 및 전달 수단이 함께 동일 온도에서 유지될 수 있는 장치.
  16. 제15항에 있어서, 외부실내에 수용된 장치.
  17. 제1항 내지 13항중 어느 한 항에 따른 방법으로 처리된 재목 또는 목재판.
  18. 제14항 내지 16항중 어느 한 항에 따른 장치에서 처리된 재목 또는 목재판.
  19. 제17항 또는 18항에 있어서, 예비-건조 단계 및 후-조절 단계가 수행되지 않은 재목 또는 목재판.
