Claims (8)
- 표시면에 있는 제1주요표면(6), 그 반대쪽에 있는 제2주요표면 및 상기 주요표면들을 서로 연결하는 가장 자리들을 가진 형광액정 셀(2)과; 상기 가장자리(9)에서 방출된 형광(8)을 수용하고 그 형광의 밝기에 따른 출력을 발생하도록 위치된 광감지 수단(7)과; 상기 광감지 수단의 출력에 응답하여 상기 셀을 조명하는 광원(5)의 밝기를 제어하는 수단(10)과로 구성된 형광 액정표시(LCD)장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광원(5)이 상기 제2주요 표면을 통해 상기 셀(2)을 조명하도록 위치되어 있는 형광액정 표시장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 광원(5)이 형광등을 포함하는 형광 액정 표시장치.
- 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 광원(5)의 밝기를 제어하는 상기 수단(10)이, 상기 광감지수단(7)의 출력이 결합되는 제1입력과 기준전압이 공급되는 제2입력을 가진 차동증폭기(13)를 포함하는 형광액정 표시장치.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 기준전압이 상기 셀(2)의 출력의 밝기를 조정하도록 제어(11)될 수 있는 형광 액정 표시장치.
- 제4항 또는 제5항에 있어서, 상기 차동증폭기(13)의 출력에 형광등 구동회로(16)가 결합되어 있는 형광액정 표시장치.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 차동증폭기(13)와 형광등 구동회로(16) 사이에 적분 증폭기 수단(14)이 결합되어 있는 형광 액정 표시장치.
- 제1항 내지 제7항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 셀(2)의 동작환경에서 주위광의 밝기에 따라 광원(5)의 밝기를 추가로 제어하도록 동작하는 제2의 광감지수단을 포함하는 형광 액정 표시장치.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
