Claims (4)

  1. 전방 디스플레이 셀은 게스트-호우스트 액정셀이며 사이에 트랜스플렉터가 배치되어 있는 2개의 차례로 배열된 디스플레이 셀과 후방 디스플레이 셀을 그배면에서부터 비출 수 있는 광원과, 전방 디스플레이 셀의 영상전극뒤에 동렬로 배치되어 동시 작동 가능한 동일한 배열의, 후방 디스플레이 셀의 영상전극을 가진 액정표시장치에 있어서, 후방 디스플레이 셀(2)은 디스플레이 셀(2)은 디스플레이 셀 (2)의 작동 영상전극(16,16') 및 비작동 부분 사이의 높은 콘트라스트비를 가진 디스플레이 셀인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 후방 디스플레이 셀(2)은 TN-디스플레이 셀인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
  3. 전술한 항 중 어느한 항에 있어서, 전방 디스플레이 셀(1)은 상변환 게스트-호우스트 디스플레이 셀인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
  4. 전술한 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 트랜스플렉터(3)는 산란 트랜스플렉터인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
