Claims (8)
- 다이아몬드 대 다이아몬드 접합부를 포함하는 다이아몬드 입자의 괴체 및 다이아몬드 괴체를 통하여 균일하게 분포된 제 2의 상으로 구성되면서, 몰리브덴, 탄탈륨, 티타늄과 등가의 고용융 내화 금속, 니켈, 및 상기 금속들 중의 특정금속의 현저한 양을 포함하는 합금의 군으로부터 선택된 그 표면에 접합된 금속층을 갖는 열적으로 안정한 다이아몬드 압분체를 생성하는 방법에 있어서, (i) 금속층, 금속층상의 다이아몬드 입자들의 괴체, 및 금속층의 용융점보다 낮은 용융점을 가지면서 다이아몬드 입자상에 제 2의 상을 성형하기 위한 부분품 또는 부분품들의 층으로된 조립체를 마련하는 단계, 및 (ii) 상기 조립체를, 금속층의 다이아몬드 괴체로의 최소 침투를 달성하도록 제어된 상승된 온도 및 상승된 압력에 다이아몬드 연마 압분체를 생성하기에 충분한 시간동안 존치시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 온도가, 제 2의상을 위한 부분품 또는 부분품들이 용융되면서 다이아몬드 괴체로 침투되어 압분체를 생성하고 금속층은 용융되지 않는 정도로 첫번째로 상승되고 그후 금속층이 상기와 같이 성형된 압분체에 접합되도록 하는 정도로 상승되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 제 1단계에서의 온도가 1100 내지 1350℃ 이내의 범위이며 제 2단계의 온도는 제 1단계의 온도보다 높게 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 제2단계의 온도가 1300내지 1900℃ 범위 이내인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 선행 항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 금속층의 금속이 몰리브덴인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 선행 항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 인가되는 상승된 압력이 27 내지 70킬로바아 범위 이내인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 선행 항중 어느 하나에 있어서, 조립체가 접착된 카아바이드 기질을 포함하고 금속층은 기질의 표면상에 위치되어 상기 표면과 접촉하게 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
