제1도는 본 발명의 플라즈마 디스플레이 콘트롤 시스템의 전체구성을 도시하는 블록도, 제2도는 제1도에 도시한 플라즈마 디스플레이의 내부 구성을 도시하는 블록도, 제3도는 제2도에 도시한 디스플레이 패널과, 캐소드 드라이버 및 애노드 드라이버의 접속구성을 도시하는 블록도.

Claims (4)

  1. 캐소드 전극과 애노드 전극을 구비하고, 색의 변화 계조를 이용하여 표시하는 플라즈마 디스플레이를 구비하며,또한 컬러 CRT 디스플레이를 접속할 수 있고, 상기 컬러 CRT 디스플레이 및 플라즈마 디스플레이에 극성을 지닌수직동기신호, 수평동기신호 및 계조를 지닌 표시데이터를 출력하는 컬러 CRT 디스플레이 콘트롤러를 구비하는 플라즈마디스플레이 콘트롤 시스템에 있어서, 상기 플라즈마 디스플레이의 휘도를 가변 설정하는 휘도 가변 설정수단과; 상기CRT 디스플레이 콘트롤러에서 출력된 수직동기신호 및 수평동기신호를 수취, 휘도가 높아짐에 따라 점차 간격이 넓어지는가변조 펄스를 발생하는 가변조 펄스 발생수단과; 상기 가변조 펄스 발생수단에 의하여 발생된 가변조 펄스에 의거하여, 상기표시 데이터가 나타내는 계조에 고유의 펄스폭을 가지고, 상기 애노드 전극에 인가되는 애노드 펄스를 발생하는 애노드펄스 발생수단을 구비하여, 상기 플라즈마 디스플레이를 구동하는 구동수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 콘트롤 시스템.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 휘도 가변조 설정수단 및 구동수단을 내장하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
  3. 캐소드 전극과 애노드 전극을 구비하고, 색의 변조 계조를 이용하여 표시하는 플라즈마 디스플레이를 구비하고,또한 임의적으로 컬러 CRT 디스플레이를 접속가능케하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 콘트롤 시스템에 있어서, 상기 컬러CRT 디스플레이 및 플라즈마 디스플레이에 극성을 지닌 수직동기신호, 수평동기신호 및 계조를 가진 표시데이터를 출력하는 컬러 CRT 디스플레이 콘트롤러와, 상기 플라즈마 디스플레이의 휘도를 가변설정하는 휘도 가변 설정수단과; 상기 CRT디스플레이 콘트롤러에서 출력된 수직동기신호 및 수평동기신호의 극성을 판단하고 각 신호의 극성 조합에 따라서 표시해상도를 판별하는 표시 해상도 판별 수단과; 상기 휘도 설정수단에 의하여 설정된 휘도 및 상기 표시 해상도를 판별수단에 의하여 판별된 표시 해상도에 따라서 휘도가 높아짐에 따라 점차 간격이 넓어지는 가변조 펄스를 발생하는 가변조 펄스 발생수단과; 상기 가변조 펄스 발생수단에 의하여 발생된 가변조 펄스에 의거하여, 상기 표시 데이터가 나타나는 계조에 고유의 펄스폭을 지니고, 상기 애노드 전극에 인가되는 애노드 펄스를 발생하는 애노드 펄스 발생수단을 구비하여, 상기 플라즈마 디스플레이를 구동하는 구동수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 콘트롤 시스템.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 CRT 디스플레이 콘트롤러에서 출력된 수직동기신호 및 수평동기신호의 극성을 판단하고, 각 신호의 극성 조합에 따라서 표시 해상도를 판별하는 표시 해상도 판별 수단을 추가로 구비하며, 상기 가변조 펄스 발생수단은 상기 휘도 설정 수단에 의하여 설정된 휘도 및 상기 표시 해상도 판별 수단에 의하여 판별된 표시 해상도에 따라서 휘도가 높아짐에 따라, 점차 간격이 넓어지는 가변조 펄스를 발생하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시스템.
