Claims (3)

1비트동안 제한된 기간의 레이저 빔에 의해 기억층의 선택 영역을 거의 쿠리에 온도까지 가열함으로써 자기 광학 기억층에 이진 정보를 기록하기 위한 방법에 있어서, 제한된 기간의 각 레이저 빔이 펄스간격에 의해 분리되는 복수의 짧은 펄스로 나누어지며, 각각의 펄스는 기억층의 동일 선택영역에 입사되며, 펄스 각각은 기억층의 노출영역을 쿠리에 온도까지 가열시키는 에너지를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 이진 정보 기록 방법.
제 1 항에 있어서, 펄스 및 펄스 간격은 거의 동일한 길이를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 이진 정보 기록 방법.
제 1 항의 방법을 이행하기 위한 장치에 있어서, 이진 정보의 소스에 의해 구동될 수 있는 레이저를 구비하며, 펄스 발생기는 정보 소스와 레이저사이에 배치되어, 예정된 길이의 예정된 수의 구동펄스 및 각 정보 신호로부터의 펄스 간격을 추출하며, 상기 레이저는 상기 구동 펄스에 의해 구동되는 것을 특징으로 하는 이진 정보 기록 장치.
