본 고안의 회로도.

본 고안은 축전지의 전압 상태를 검출하여 충전 및 방전을 콘트롤 하여 줌으로써 축전지를 항상 최적의 상태로 유지할 수 있는 축전지의 충방전 제어 회로에 관한 것이다.
축전지의 수명을 단축시키고 용량을 저하 시키는 요인은 여러가지가 있으나 대표적으로 축전지의 전압이 장시간 동안 과충전 되어 높게되는 경우에는 축전지의 수명이 단축되며 축전지가 낮은 전압으로 장기간 방전되는 경우에는 용량이 크게 저하되는 원인이 되는 것이었다.
그러나 종래의 축전지는 파워 트랜지스터를 사용하여 충전을 시키기 때문에 충전시에 흐르는 대전류에 의한 파워 트랜지스터의 발열에 의하여 정전압 특성이 떨어지고 방열판이 커지는 단점이 있을 뿐만 아니라 축전지는 주위 온도의 변화에 따라 그에 따른 보상이 필요한 것이었다.
본 고안은 이와 같은 점을 감안하여 축전지의 충전 및 방전상태를 항상 감지하여 부하측으로 과방전 되는 것과 축전지에 과충전 되는 것을 방지하고 충전 및 방전이 동시에 일어나는 경우에는 부동 충전 전압부에서 드라이브부를 제어하도록 한 것으로 이를 첨부 도면에 의하여 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
본 고안은 축전지(6)에 전원을 공급하는 드라이브부(1)를 전원부(7)의 전원이 다이오드(D1)를 통하여 파워 트랜지스터(Q4-Q6)로 출력되게 구성시키며 트랜지스터( Q6)의 에미터와 콜렉터측에 병렬로 릴레이 스위치(S2)를 연결 구성시키고 과방전 검출부(5)는 축전지(6)의 방전전압이 저항(R19)(R20)으로 분배되어 비교기(CP1)에 인가되게 구성시켜 과방전지 트랜지스터(Q1)를 도통시켜 릴레이(RY1)를 여자 시키게 구성하여 부하측과 연결되는 릴레이 스위치(S1)를 차단시키게 구성한다.
그리고 기준 전압 발생부(4)는 OP앰프(CP4)의 일측단자(+)에 저항(R17)(R18)을 통하여 제너 다이오드(ZD)의 양단 전압이 인가되게 구성시키고 타측단자(-)에 저항(R15)(R16)으로 증폭도가 선택되게 구성시켜 기준 전압(V9)이 발생하게 구성하며 이 기준 전압(V9)가 비교기(CP2)(CP3)의 일측 및 타측단자(+)(-)에 인가되게 구성시킨다.
부동충전전압 검출부(2)는 더어미스터(TH)및 저항(R1-R3), (R10-R14)으로 분해된 전압이 비교기(CP2)의 타측단자(-)에 인가되게 구성시켜 방전과 동시에 충전을 행할때 비교기(CP2)의 출력이 트랜지스터(Q3)를 도통시켜 드라이브부(1)의 각 파워 트랜지스터가 구동되게 구성하며 과충전 검출부(3)에는 비교기(CP3)의 양단 전압에 의하여 트랜지스터(Q2)를 구동시켜 릴레이(RY2)가 여자되게 구성 시켜된 것이다.
여기서 각 릴레이 스위치(S1)(S2)는 릴레이(RY1)(RY2)여자시에 구동되는 스위치이다.
이와 같이 구성된 본 고안에서 축전지(6)에 충전된 전원은 과방전 검출부(5)에서 검출하게 되며 과방전 상태가 아닐때에는 릴레이 스위치(S1)가 접점(P2)에 접속되어 부하측으로 충전된 전원을 공급하게 되고 과방전 상태에서 접점(P1)에 접속되어 부하측으로 공급되는 전원을 차단하게 된다.
즉, 축전지(6)에 충전된 전원은 저항(R19)(R20)으로 분해되어 비교기(CP1)의 타측단자(-)에 인가되는 것으로 축전지(6)의 기준 전압 이하로 인가되는 경우에는 비교기(CP1)의 출력이 고전위 상태가 되어 트랜지스터(Q1)를 도통시키어 릴레이(RY1)를 여자하고 이에 따라 릴레이 스위치(S1)는 접점(P1)에 접속되어 축전지(6)의 방전상태를 차단하게 된다.
이때에 저항(R3)은 히스테리 특성을 주기 위한 것으로 비교기(CP1)의 출력이 고전위 상태로 신호로 될때에 축전지(6)의 충전압이 부동 충전 전압에 도달 될때까지 계속 고전위 상태 신호를 유지하기 위한 것이다.
그리고 기준 전압발생부(4)는 제너다이오드(ZD)의 양단 전압을 저항(R15) (R16)의 비로서 증폭하여 OP앰프(OP4)로 출력되는 것으로 기준전압(V0)=VI()으로 되어 각 비교기(CP1)(CP2)(CP3)에 기준 전압으로 인가하게 된다.
부동충전전압 검출부(2)는 저항(R1-R3) (R10) (R13) (R14), 온도보사용 더어미스터(TH)로서 축전지(6)의 전압을 분배시켜 비교기(CP2)의 일측단자(-)에 인가되고 타측단자(+)에는 기준전압 발생부(4)의 기준 전압이 인가되어 부동충전 전압이 기준전압보다 낮을때에는 비교기(CP2)의 고전위 상태 신호가 트랜지스터(Q3)를 도통시켜 트랜지스터(Q4-Q6)로 구성된 드라이브부(1)를 도통시켜 트랜지스터(Q6)를 통하여 축전지(6)에 충전을 행하게 된다.
여기서 부동충전이란 축전지(6)에서 부하측으로 방전을 행하면서 축전지(6)에 충전되는 것을 말하는 것으로 비교기(CP2)의 일측단자(-)에서 인가되는 전압이 부동충전 전압이 이상일때에는 저전위 상태 신호가 출력되어 트랜지스터(Q6)를 차단시키게 되므로 드라이브부(1)는 차단 상태가 되어 트랜지스터(Q6)에서 공급되는 충전전원은 차단이 된다.
과충전 검출부(3)는 부동충전 전압검출부(2)보다 인가되는 전압이 낮게 설정되어 있어 비교기(CP3)의 일측단자(+)에 인가되는 축전지의 충전 전압과 타측단자(-)에 인가되는 기준 전압을 비교하여 부동충전 전압보다 낮은 전압에서 고전위 상태 신호가 출력되어 트랜지스터(Q2)를 도통시켜 릴레이(RY2)를 여자시켜 릴레이 스위치(S2)를 접속시키게 되므로 전원부(7)의 전원을 릴레이 스위치(S2)를 통하여 축전지(6)에 충전되게 된다.
이는 부동충전 유지 전압 이하로 축전지(6)가 방전된 상태에서 축전지(6)에 충전시키게 되면 대전류가 흐르는 동시에 드라이브부(1)의 파워 트랜지스터로 흐르는 경우 충전 시간이 길어지기 때문에 직접 릴레이 스위치(S2)를 통하여 흐르게 함으로써 파워트랜지스터를 보호해 주게되고 부동충전 전압보다도 더욱더 낮을때에 릴레이(RY2)가 여자되므로 릴레이 스위치(S2)의 동작 횟수도 줄일수가 있어 접점을 보호하게 된다.
여기서 저항(R11)은 히스테리 특성을 주기 위한 것으로 축전지(6)의 전압이 부동충전 전압보다 낮게 되어 비교기(CP3)의 출력이 고전위 상태가 될때에 축전지(6)의 충전 전압이 최고 충전전압에 도달할때까지 비교기(CP3)의 출력을 고전위 상태 신호로 유지하여 주기 위한 것이고 더어미스터(TH)는 부동충전 전압 및 최고 충전 전압에 대한 온도 보상용으로 온도에 따라 축전지(6)의 분배 전압이 각 저항치에 따라 변화되어 인가되게 한 것이다.
이상에서와 같이 본 고안은 더어미스터(TH) 및 각 분배 저항으로 온도에 따라 보상하도록 한 후 기준전압 발생부의 상태 신호가 축전지의 방전상태 신호를 비교하도록 함으로써 과충전 및 과방전이 발생되는 것을 차단하고 부동충전 전압 검출부에서 충전과 동시에 방전이 일어나는 경우 드라이브부를 제어하도록 함으로써 항상 축전지를 최적의 상태로 유지시킬 수 있고 드라이브부의 파워 트랜지스터나 릴레이 스위치를 선택하여 축전지에 충전시킬수가 있기때문에 과방전 상태에서 충전을 실행할때와 부동충전시에 충전을 할때에 각기 그 충전 통로가 상이하게 하여 릴레이 접점을 보호할 수 있는 효과가 있는 것이다.

Claims (1)

  1. 축전지(6)의 방전 상태가 저항(R19)(R20)으로 분배되어 비교기(CP1)를 통하여 릴레이(RY1)가 제어되도록 과방전 검출부(5)를 구성하며 제너다이오드(ZD)의 양단 전압과 저항(R15)(R16)으로 증폭도가 결정되어 OP앰프(OP4)로 기준 전압이 발생되도록 기준전압 발생부(4)를 구성한 후 저항(R1-R3)(R10-R14), 더어미스터(TH)의 분배 전압과 기준전압(V0)이 일측으로 부동충전 전압 검출부(2)를 통하여 드라이브부(1)를 제어하게 구성하며 타측으로 비교기(CP3)를 통하여 릴레이(RY2)를 여자시키는 과충전검출부(3)에 인가되게 구성시켜된 축전지의 충방전 제어회로.
